An Inside Look at the New Titleist TS Metals

The Titleist Research & Development team had one goal in mind when developing their new line of drivers and fairways: speed. They were challenged with producing speed from every detail of these golf clubs. This year’s clubs are so different, Titleist even changed the way they named them. Welcome the TS2 and TS3 drivers and fairways.
TS stands for Titleist Speed since these clubs are the result of the Titleist Speed Project (the internal nomenclature used during the creation of the clubs). Everything is built around the all-new Speed Chassis design, which  is a combination of four features:

  • An ultra-thin titanium crown
  • A thinner, faster variable thickness face
  • A new streamlined shape that reduces drag by 20%
  • An optimized weight distribution for Titleist’s lowest center of gravity ever

Check out the details of the new TS metals.
