Technology

TaylorMade P-7MC irons are fully forged from 1025 carbon steel. This material gives these golf clubs the soft feel that better golfers prefer from forged irons. TaylorMade uses a 2,000-ton press engineered to produce a tighter, more compact grain structure with fewer defects. It is designed to provide the most solid, consistent feel possible.

Then TaylorMade machines the face and grooves of each iron for ultimate precision. Machining the face ensures precision and quality with their most aggressive MX9 scoreline geometry for exact shot-making potential with every club.

Finally, they go over every angle of the irons to ensure proper perimeter weighting. That added mass around the cavity increases stability and forgiveness for those shots where you don’t quite hit the center of the face.

Who It’s For

The TaylorMade P-7MC irons are for a group of top-tier golfers who just do not prefer to play with a blade. Some golfers prefer that added bit of perimeter weighting, stability, and forgiveness. Great ball strikers who love forged irons but want that little bit of extra help will enjoy the P-7MC golf clubs. Anyone from professional up to a 5 or 6 handicap makes a good target player for this design.

Appearance

TaylorMade’s P-7MC irons are made in a Tour-inspired shape with input from the world’s best players about what they like to see in an iron. These clubs have a thin topline and progressive offset that looks clean down by the ball. They also have a narrow sole and tight leading edge that glides easily through the turf.

Feel & Sound

TaylorMade P-7MC irons feel and sound like a muscle back iron just with added stability. These irons are fully forged from carbon steel for that soft, buttery feel better players love. They sound solid when you hit them solid and they do not feel forgiving if you do not make proper contact
