Technology
Every one of the Wilson Staff Model putters is milled from a solid block of 304 stainless steel for the best combination of soft feel, stability, and forgiveness. They are 100% precision milled to exceptionally tight tolerances to deliver superior feel, incredible consistency, and true, more accurate roll. By using 304 stainless steel, Wilson provides that soft feel golfers love on the greens.
Performance-balanced weighting in the sole of each Staff Model putter delivers ultimate swing control and unmatched feel with added stability. The weighting in the heel and toe of every club head is specific to the four models:
- 8802 features no weights in the sole for maximum toe flow and an old-school performance
- BL22 blade includes 10-gram weights for classic blade-like performance and weighting
- MT22 and TM22 mallets have 15-gram weights for extra forgiveness and stability that golfers expect from a mallet
Who It’s For
Wilson Staff Model putters are made for golfers who like a traditional look and prefer a softer feeling putter with the performance of a milled golf club. With four models to choose from, every golfer can find a Staff Model putter to fit them.
- The 8802 has maximum toe hang for golfers who have a strong natural arc to their putting stroke.
- The BL22 is a more traditional blade with medium toe hang for slight arc putting strokes.
- The MT22 is a full-bodied mallet that frames the ball of address with some toe hang for slight arc putting strokes.
- The TM22 is a fanged mallet designed to maximize perimeter weighting with some toe hang for slight arc putting strokes.
Appearance
Wilson Staff Model putters are made with an incredibly traditional appearance. From the classic milled lines and face to the silver finish, these putters are timeless golf clubs. The 8802 putter provides a signature look at address while the BL22 fills the sweet spot of a blade golfers love. The MT22 and TM22 suit the eye of golfers who like the confident, larger shape of a mallet.
