Bettinardi Produces High-Quality Putters, Made In The USA

For more than 20 years, Bettinardi has been making high quality, handcrafted putters right here in the USA. Some of the biggest names on Tour have trusted their putting to Bettinardi like Matt Kuchar, Fred Couples, and Eddie Pepperell. Francesco Molinari won the 2018 Open Championship with a Bettinardi putter in his bag. So what is it that sets these putters apart? It’s all in the details of how they are made.

How it all started

Robert Bettinardi had an idea. He wanted to make milled putters. Starting with a single piece of metal, the clubs could be cut down to the finest detail, especially the face. When the company was born in 1998, so was the Honeycomb face milling pattern.

It didn’t take long for these designs to be a hit with the pros. In 1999, Jesper Parnevik set the Greater Greensboro Open scoring record using a Bettinardi BB10 model. As their engineering progressed, Bettinardi had earned 17 wins on professional tours by 2002. They also introduced their first wedge made with their unique milling process.

Next came a new milling process: the F.I.T. F.I.T. stands for Feel-Impact Technology. That process removes 55% of material from the face for an even softer feel. By 2012, the extremely popular Queen B line of putters was introduced and Bettinardi was more than just a household name.

Bettinardi Today

Robert Bettinardi and his son Sam have made their name in golf with one-piece milled putters, innovative milling processes and patterns, and their made in the USA work ethic. Every putter is machined in the USA in their facility in the Chicago area. It is that blue-collar ideal and three time-tested milling patterns that have left their mark on the game of golf.

When you choose a Bettinardi putter, you have three face milling patterns to choose from to best suit your game:

  • Honeycomb
  • F.I.T.
  • FlyMill

Honeycomb Face Milling

  • Patented milling technique produces the firmest face
  • Firmest feeling face pattern
  • Ideal for golfers who are conscious of green speed

F.I.T. Milling

  • Proprietary technique eliminates the need for a face insert
  • Removes 55% of face material, providing the softest feel
  • Ideal for golfers with an aggressive putting style

FlyMill Face Milling

  • Aggressive milling technique creates a muted, yet crisp feel
  • In between the hardest and softest feel
  • Ideal for golfers who want responsive feel on their putts
