Technology
With the advanced ICT and the corrective tendencies of Twist Face, these drivers are meant to maintain ball speed and accuracy on off-center strikes. The lightweight full-carbon body allows TaylorMade engineers to strategically place weight for optimal launch and forgiveness.
The Stealth 2 Plus driver has the addition of a 15g sliding weight track to help golfers control shot shape and create the desired ball flight. While the HD driver has a high draw design to promote a corrective flight.
Who It’s For
If you’re looking for the most attunable driver model, the Stealth 2 Plus is perfect for golfers who want to finetune the trajectory they are looking for. The Stealth 2 HD driver is for players looking for higher launch and draw bias to help reduce misshits to the right.
Appearance
The TaylorMade Stealth 2 drivers feature a sleek look with an all-black crown that looks powerful when set down by the golf ball. One thing that stands out in the appearance of these TaylorMade drivers is the red accents. That includes the red club face. TaylorMade’s carbon fiber face and nanotexture cover are red and look different than any driver out there today.
Feel & Sound
The TaylorMade Stealth 2 drivers sound and feel explosive when you hit the golf ball. Some may expect that the carbon fiber face may sound and feel a little muted when compared to a standard titanium driver face. We discovered that was not the case at all and the sound and feel performance will make you think you are not hitting a carbon fiber face at all.
