Technology
The TaylorMade GTX putters feature a multi-material construction. A top plate made from 6061 aluminum eliminates excess weight in the middle of the putter and includes a short sightline. The aluminum cap weighs 194 grams. The back weight ring is made of 154 grams of heavy stainless steel that creates a deeper center of gravity for less face rotation and enhanced stability.
On the top of each club head,TaylorMade included their White True Path alignment system to form an arrow exactly the width of the ball on top to center the golf ball.
Every Spider GTX putter includes TaylorMade’s signature PureRoll2 face insert. The new, firmer co-molded PureRoll2 Insert is made of TPU urethane with silver aluminum beams at a 45° angle designed to improve topspin all across the face.
Appearance
TaylorMade Spider GTX putters feature a flat-capped top like a traditional mallet. The more square shape is reminiscent of past Spider putter models and helps frame the ball while inspiring confidence in the forgiveness they provide.They also come in a variety of colors to fit your preferred style.
Feel & Sound
The TaylorMade Spider GTX putters feel and sound extremely responsive thanks to the PureRoll2 face insert. This helps the putter feel softer while offering true forward roll and the feedback you need to know where on the club face you made impact with the golf ball.
