Technology

The Puma Ignite Fasten8 golf shoes feature the new Fasten8 PWRStrap Fit System. Advanced nylon webbing straps are integrated into the lacing system to wrap the foot as you lace them up. This provides a more secure, personalized fit for the wearer that increases stability by hugging your foot.

To further improve the stability and support of the Ignite Fasten8 shoe, Puma utilized their PWRFRAME design. This incredibly thin TPU frame is placed in high-stress areas of the upper to add lightweight support and increase stability. They also used the PWRCAGE TPU saddle. The PWRCAGE is integrated with the midfoot webbing straps to enhance support and stability during the golf swing.

The uppers of the Ignite Fasten8 shoes are made for pure performance. It starts with Puma’s non-stretch waterproof mesh that protects against moisture while keeping these shoes breathable for added comfort. The inclusion of the TPU PWRFRAME and PWRCAGE elements adds durability as well as support.

Puma uses their proprietary IGNITE Foam in the midsole. This unique foam returns more energy with every step to provide responsive comfort, stable cushioning, and comfort on all types of ground.

Finally, Puma’s spikeless outsole combines traction with versatility. Strategically-designed directional traction lugs are inspired by nature and the way the foot connects to the ground. The traction lugs are placed in the proper zones for increased traction throughout the golf swing so you get more grip and power.
