Technology
Odyssey Eleven putters begin with an all-new shape that advances the technology of the previous models in the Ten family. The unique shape of each mallet is made to easily frame the golf ball at address, make sure you are square to your target line, and enhance forgiveness with their larger shape and added perimeter weighting.
By utilizing a multi-material construction, Odyssey’s engineers moved the center of gravity forward nearly a quarter of an inch over other leading mallets. That more forward CG improves performance, speed control, spin control, consistency on off-center hits, and keeps your putts on their intended target line.
Odyssey placed a super light TPU insert into the sole of each putter as well. This insert helps fine-tune the feel and sound of each putter without adding a bunch of weight to the center of the club head. On top, the crowned design allows for a finished shape and provides a blank canvas for various alignment aide options throughout the family.
They also included the original formula White Hot insert. The most popular insert of all time is back with the feel, sound, and performance golfers love.
Finally, these putters utilize a new generation of multi-material Stroke Lab shafts. By shortening the steel section, Odyssey reduced the weight by 7 grams compared to the original Stroke Lab model. They also made it stiffer and more stable for even more consistency in stroke and performance.
Performance
We tested the Odyssey Eleven putters with the help of Rick Hatfield. Rick is TGW’s Master Fitter and our resident product expert. Our putter testing was conducted indoors at the TGW Pure Performance Center using Foresight Sports launch monitors. With his time hitting the Eleven putters, Rick noted these club heads are extremely forgiving. They offer a high-MOI performance that helps make putts more accurate even if you don’t hit the center of the face. These putters are also notably soft thanks to the inclusion of the original White Hot insert.
