Mizuno M-Craft Putters Review by TGW
Technology
Every Mizuno M-Craft putter is forged from 1025 mild carbon steel for the signature soft yet solid feel that Mizuno is known for. They are also precision CNC milled for exact shape, alignment, and performance. The deep face milling generates a soft feel when you strike the golf ball and helps product pure forward roll faster to get your putts moving on their intended target line.
The head weights of the M-Craft line of putters are heavier to promote a fluid, more rhythmic putting stroke. By smoothing out the putting stroke with a heavier club head, you get more accurate, stable on the greens. Each M-Craft putter has a head weight of 355 grams, except the VI mallet, which is heavier at 371 grams.
This family of putters is available in 6 different designs. From smaller blades to a mid-mallet square back and larger mallets, there is a shape to fit every golfer and stroke type.
Performance
We put the Mizuno M-Craft putters to the test with Rick Hatfield, head golf pro at Flint Hills National Golf Club and TGW’s resident product expert. Right away Rick noted the performance of the heavier putter head. The heavier weight helped control distance and keep him accurate during our testing. For the golfers who tend to miss their putts short, the M-Craft putters do have the ability to change into a lighter head weight which tends to help with that issue. The CNC milling did help produce pure, accurate roll. Rick also noted that these were some of the best-feeling putters he has tried out in a long time.
Who It’s For

- M-Craft V: Heel-toe weighted deep mallet with a slant neck and maximum toe hang for golfers with a lot of arc in their putting stroke
