FootJoy dominates the golf world when it comes to shoes. The comfort, stability, style, and grip is what draws amateurs and professionals to their shoes. It is no wonder why they are “The #1 Shoe in Golf.”
The Pro SL Carbon and Pro SL Golf shoe have become a footprint in every golfer’s circle. FootJoy has spent a lot of time perfecting the most popular shoes on the market, making fine detail improvements that have made the shoes even better.
FootJoy Pro SL & Pro SL Carbon Golf Shoe Review
Comfort
The Pro SL Carbon shoe screams comfort. When putting the shoe on you immediately feel the foam collar around the perimeter of the shoe. This foam collar gives you a perfect fit and feel. This added foam collar gives you that additional comfort you are looking for. The Pro SL Carbon fits true to size. They have an ortholite impression foot bed that gives you a custom fit and amazing underfoot comfort. The Pro SL Carbon shoes are lightweight, and the added carbon fiber insert gives you that added comfort, energy return, stability, and help to combat fatigue for those long days walking 18.
The Pro SL golf shoe lacks this comfort around the collar. Though the midsole is quite comfortable you do not have the additional cushioning. It is noticeable, but the shoes are still comfortable. The Pro SL golf shoes are a standard fit and just like the Pro SL Carbon, it has a narrower heel.
Appearance
The Pro SL Carbon and Pro SL golf shoes are two of the best looking shoes on the market. FootJoy does a great job of not taking a design over the top but keeping the shoe stylish. They give you the athletic look you want and provide the comfort you need.
The only knock that I have with the Pro SL Carbon shoe is the lack of color options. You have two color options either black or white. The Pro SL gives you five color options to choose the style that fits your preference.
Technology
FootJoy’s Pro SL and Pro SL Carbon golf shoes are made with their latest innovations to provide the best possible comfort and performance. The uppers are made with Pittards® ChromoSkin™ leather for a clean, stylish look and waterproof protection. Their signature Fine-Tuned Foam in the midsole cushions every step and provides comfort all day long. FootJoy redesigned the outsole for this updated model. The Infinity Outsole delivers the most precise traction everywhere you need it on every part of the foot.
The Pro SL Carbon model has a couple extra features as well. Most notable is the carbon fiber inlay in the midsole. By adding the carbon insert, FootJoy made these shoes more stable and increased the amount of spring-like energy return in every step. Inside the shoe is the Ortholites® Impressions FitBed®. This insert delivers a custom fit and incredible cushioning underfoot. The Pro SL Carbon golf shoe also features a 3D-molded foam collar to add comfort and stability around the ankle.
Performance
The grip for the Pro SL Carbon and Pro SL golf shoes are excellent! FootJoy added 189 points of traction and 17% more surface area to the heel of the shoe. No matter the weather conditions this allows you to really go after that drive-able par 4 with no fear of slipping.
One of the most important aspects of any golf shoe is the waterproof warranty. Nothing worse than a weekend morning tee time and wet socks. Both of the shoes have a two-year waterproof warranty.
Verdict
The #1 Shoe in Golf just got better. FootJoy has taken the hottest spikeless shoe in golf and improved its comfort, fit, and traction. To be honest, you will not go wrong with either shoe, but if you are going to pay for a golf shoe then you might as well shell out the extra money for the Pro SL Carbon. The price point isn’t that far off, and the added comfort is worth your money. The foam collar is a deal-breaker for me. The Pro SL Shoe doesn’t have this feature, and that’s why I think the Pro SL Carbon is worth the upgrade.

This is incredible stuff. I utilize a comparative pointing measure for full shots. Pick a spot 24″ before the ball. It works incredible.
I’ve utilized this spot method for putting also however you’ve made it a considerably more exact framework. Can hardly wait to get out there and make it go.
From where, can i buy this shoe?
