Technology
ECCO S-Three golf shoes get their name from the use of ECCO FluidForm Technology which is used to create three different zones in the midsole. In the heel of the midsole is the Comfort Zone. This zone features a medium softness for greater cushioning and comfort when you step. In the middle is the Stability Zone. This zone is more rigid to provide greater lateral stability during the golf swing. Finally, in the front of the midsole, is the Flexibility Zone. This zone is incredibly soft to bend and form with added comfort as you walk.
The uppers are made from soft calf Nappa leather that ECCO makes in their tanning facilities. This leather provides a unique combination of performance, breathability, and moisture protection. GORE-TEX Technology makes the S-Three golf shoe 100% waterproof while maintaining that level of breathable comfort.
Turn the shoe over and we find ECCO’s signature E-DTS spikeless outsole. Made with more than 100 TPU traction bars and 800 traction angles, the S-Three golf shoe offers the traction you need on the golf course with the versatility to wear them anywhere.
A removable, washable OrthoLite insole enhances breathability and provides long-lasting cushioning inside the shoe. The extra width insole can be taken out to provide another half-size worth of room. They make their shoes in one universal width called Freedom Fit that features a wider toe box and narrower heel to better fit more golfers.
Appearance
