Appearance

With golf clubs like the Cobra F-Max line, it’s not enough to be fast. They have to look fast, too. From carbon fiber crowns on the drivers and fairway woods to the sleek, compact shape of the hybrids and progressive look of the irons, each club is designed to look as fast as they feel.

  • Driver – At address, the driver looks forgiving and fast. The carbon fiber crown stands out. Two raised ridges also make the club look fast while also helping frame the ball and get you properly aligned. The bottom of the clubs looks sleek in a stealthy way: fast lines, blue accents, and a back weight.
  • Fairway Wood – The F-Max fairway woods share many design elements with the drivers. A carbon fiber crown and raised ridges give it the same visual effect at address you get with the drivers. The sole of the fairways is also the same with fast lines and blue accents that do not look stuck to the ground when you hit them off the deck.
  • Hybrid – Right away, the crown of the hybrid looks different without the carbon fiber construction. The top of the club is flat black, making it look compact at address. There is also a fair amount of offset that inspires confidence to hit it straight. Looking over the rest of the club, the sole shares the same design as the drivers and fairways so it looks fast and consistent with the rest of the line.
  • Irons – Taking the irons out of the box, there is no doubt they are game improvement clubs. The deep undercut cavity combined with a wider sole gives the irons a forgiving look. All that weight in the perimeter of the club makes for a stable-looking club head. This set has progressive offset so at address, each club looks a little different. More offset in the longer irons are extremely forgiving while less offset in the short irons make you feel like you can control the club with accuracy.

Feel

As soon as you pick up the Cobra F-Max golf clubs, you know they achieved what they set out to do. These golf clubs are seriously lightweight. Lighter grips and shafts are noticeable while the lighter club heads help you add speed without losing control over the club during your swing. You can still feel the head throughout the swing. With golf clubs this light, it is easy to swing faster naturally. You don’t have to swing harder to generate more speed and distance.

Every club feels solid at impact. There is a solid sound as you swing through the ball and watch it fly on its way. With the offset driver, it feels like you just cannot make it go right. This is great for golfers who struggle with a slice. The added offset in the hybrids and irons provide the same benefit. With every club in the Airspeed family, you can enjoy shots that are faster, longer, and straighter.
