Callaway Rogue ST Golf Clubs – Callaway’s Longest Clubs At Every Level

Callaway unveiled a new generation of Rogue golf clubs, and they are built to be longer than ever before. From the driver through the irons, every golf club in the Rogue ST family is built for maximum distance and stability. Through the latest series of groundbreaking technologies, Callaway has created an entire lineup consisting of drivers, fairway woods, hybrids, and irons to fit every golfer. TGW put together this handy guide to take you inside the technology and show you who each club is designed for.

Drivers

Callaway Rogue ST Drivers

Callaway Rogue ST drivers feature the all-new Tungsten Speed Cartridge. This revolutionary structure places up to 23 grams of weight low and deep in the driver head. The result is increased speed on off-center hits and even greater forgiveness with high, easy launch.

Callaway’s patented Artificial Intelligence-designed Jailbreak Speed Frame is included as well. It provides stability in both the horizontal and torsional directions. Callaway engineers have speed-tuned the construction, shaping, and positioning to deliver even more speed all across the club face.

As the industry leader in the use of Artificial Intelligence, Callaway has a new A.I. club face in Rogue ST drivers as well. They have added launch and spin to go with all that ball speed in their optimization formula. This new formula lowers spin on the face, allowing for a more forgiving driver.

Callaway gave each driver model a boost in stability and forgiveness by using a unibody construction. The titanium construction provides stability and lowers the center of gravity, while the proprietary Triaxial Carbon crown and sole allow for more weight savings. This weight is precisely redistributed to increase forgiveness with high launch and a slight draw bias.

With 4 drivers to choose from, each one is a little different and fits a different type of golfer. Here is our breakdown of the 4 models.

  • Rogue ST MAX is the highest MOI head with a slight draw bias that’s built for all levels of golfers. This is the best combination of distance and forgiveness.
  • Rogue ST Max D is built for golfers who want maximum forgiveness. It is built for very high MOI, with a reduced face progression, and a more upright lie. Internal and external draw weighting have also been added, along with a generously stretched profile at address for maximum shot shape correction.
  • Rogue ST Max LS is a high MOI head built for lower spin along with a stronger trajectory. Players can expect a more neutral ball flight, more workability, and lower spin characteristics compared to the Rogue ST MAX. It’s a great option for many mid-to-low handicap players.
  • The Rogue ST Triple Diamond LS Driver is a low spin option for better players and is the latest evolution of Callaway’s Tour-proven Triple Diamond heads. It is the lowest spinning Rogue ST  model, with a neutral-to-fade bias in a compact 450cc head.

Fairway Woods

Callaway Rogue ST Fairway Woods

Callaway Rogue ST fairway woods are packed with technology that makes them their longest fairway woods ever. Callaway introduced the groundbreaking Tungsten Speed Cartridge for the first time in a fairway wood. By incorporating up to 27g of this high-density tungsten weight, the center of gravity is pushed low and forward. The result is lower spin with more ball speed.

The new A.I.-designed Jailbreak system has been completely redesigned to promote even more speed and stability. The two Jailbreak batwings are pushed to the perimeter of the club head, providing stiffness while allowing the face to flex for high ball speeds. Callaway also applied an all-new A.I. face optimization to include speed, launch, and spin. This unique face pattern is customized for each model and loft in the fairway lineup.

The C300 maraging steel is specially treated through a proprietary process for high strength and flexibility, while the Flash Face Cup provides speed and spin consistency across the face.

Callaway has 3 models to choose from in the Rogue ST fairway woods.

  • The Rogue ST MAX model will fit a wide range of players who want speed, forgiveness, and all-around performance. It is a mid-launch offering with slight draw bias. The MAX model features a new progressive shape to appeal to a wide range of golfers, featuring models from a 3 wood through 11 wood.
  • The Rogue ST MAX D is Callaway’s first dedicated draw fairway wood. It is the highest-launching fairway wood in the lineup and utilizes a slightly closed face, more upright lie angle, and additional weight in the heel to promote a powerful draw bias. This model will fit players that need the most shot shape correction in their fairway wood.
  • The Rogue ST LS model features a deeper face with a compact footprint especially suited for better players. The 28-gram Tungsten Speed Cartridge and forward weight screw push the center of gravity forward for low spin, while the shape and face profile make this the most fade-capable fairway wood.

Hybrids

Callaway Rogue ST hybrids are the longest, fastest family of hybrids Callaway has made. Just like in the fairway woods, the new A.I.-designed Jailbreak system has been completely redesigned to promote speed and stability. The two Jailbreak frames are pushed to the perimeter of the club head and face, providing stiffness while allowing the face to flex for high ball speeds.

Utilizing the high-strength 455 Face Cup, Callaway applied an all-new A.I. face optimization to include speed, launch, and spin. This unique face pattern is customized for each model and loft in the hybrid lineup. Up to 24 grams of precision tungsten weighting allows for precise center of gravity locations, delivering optimal launch with even more ball speed.

Callaway offers 4 different models of the Rogue ST hybrid.

  • The Rogue ST MAX is the longest Rogue ST hybrid, built with slightly stronger lofts to fit an extensive range of golfers looking for speed, forgiveness, and all-around hybrid performance.
  • Rogue ST MAX OS is the oversized head shape with increased forgiveness and a draw bias. The OS model features the widest loft offering extending from a 3 hybrid to an 8 hybrid.
  • The Rogue Max OS Lite the easiest to swing lightweight option with up to 15 grams of tungsten, and features Callaway’s widest loft offering extending from a 3 hybrid to an 8 hybrid.
  • The Rogue ST Pro is geared to the better golfers. It features a compact fairway wood shaping, shallow face, and neutral center of gravity for the most workability in the Rogue ST line.

Irons

Callaway Rogue ST Irons

Callaway didn’t forget about the irons either. The longest irons they have ever made come in 4 models with some unique technology. An industry-first, Callaway combined high-strength 450 steel with their A.I.-designed Flash Face Cup. This delivers more ball speed and better ball speed consistency.

Callaway applied their new A.I. Face Optimization for Rogue ST irons. It is unique for each model and loft to create spin rate consistency across the face and throughout the set. It creates high launch and COR plus a more controlled landing angle to help hold more greens.

New precision tungsten weighting features up to 62 grams of high-density tungsten, a whopping 260% increase over MAVRIK. This provides improved launch conditions and also maximizes speed across the face.

Finally, Callaway’s patented urethane microspheres are now pushed further up the face in Rogue ST irons, up to the 6th groove, to enhance sound and deliver pure feel while maintaining those incredibly fast ball speeds

With 4 Callaway Rogue ST iron models to choose from, it is important to find the right ones for your game.

  • The Rogue ST Max irons are Callaway’s longest irons ever with refined game-improvement shaping and the strongest lofts in the Rogue ST iron family. They fit a wide range of golfers looking for incredible speed, forgiveness, and all-around iron performance.
  • Rogue ST MAX OS irons provide a refined game-improvement shaping, with high launch, wider soles, and enhanced offset. They are specifically designed for mid-to-high handicap golfers looking to get the most out of their irons.
  • Rogue ST MAX OS Lite irons have a refined game-improvement shaping, with high launch, wider soles, and enhanced offset. The Lite version features more loft, lighter shafts, and lighter swingweights to make these the highest launching, easiest to swing Rogue ST model.
  • Rogue ST Pro irons are designed for low-to-mid single digit handicap golfers. They feature all the best technologies of Rogue ST in a hollow body construction and a compact players shape.
