How We Tested
All of the data was collected in the controlled indoor environment of the TGW Wichita Pure Performance Center. Testing was conducted with Rick Hatfield, TGW’s Master Fitter; who used a Foresight GC2 launch monitor to record the data for each putter. Rick rated each putter based on skid and how fast the putter helped the golf ball get into true forward roll, the ability to hit putts on their intended target line, and speed control.
The Results
For this test, Rick hit a series of 15-foot putts with each putter to rank them in a number of categories. We broke the top 3 out for a few categories to make it easier to decide which putter is best for you depending on what type of performance you are looking to achieve on the greens.
