PING Men's G700 Irons Black Standard #4-UW AWT 2.0 Steel is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 120.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent overall clubs Have a dozen rounds in with these clubs now. People have raved about how long they are. Well in all honesty they are no longer loft for loft than any other irons I've played really. The lofts vary so much mfg to mfg that you really have to pay attention to that to get real comparisons. That being said these are very very forgiving and very straight. It is pretty tough to shape shots with these but if your looking to just hit straight flush shots they are excellent for that. I really like the longer blade length on these since I tend to hit balls slightly on the toe side of the CG. I have the Recoil shafts in them and I don't think I could change shafts they are amazing. I have not had any issues with the clubs getting scratched/scuffed up but I have an individual slot bag and that helps I'm sure. As far as feel and sound they are top notch. I'd recommend these for anybody wanting to hit the ball much straighter with excellent forgiveness.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best iron I've ever had Got fitted for these irons a couple of months ago, had some super lite shafts put in them and they are awesome. After several surgeries my game went south real quick. Received theses irons and within a week or two my love for the game has returned. The flight, the feel, and performance of these irons of these irons are second to none. The accuracy and forgiveness is far beyond my expectations. Ping has hit the nail directly on the head with these irons.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great distance and accuracy I'm hitting the ball 10metres extra on average for all of the irons. With the 6 iron I'm hitting up to 15 meters further than my old Ping I-10s. Amazing distance and so forgiving. Great feel! Very happy with my investment for my golf game.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A big step up for Ping I'm (reasonably) a ping guy, which means I like Ping but if something was significantly better from another brand, I would use it. So if the product isn't good, I have no problem saying so. That said, when these 700s came out, I wasn't sure I wanted to get rid of my G Max irons. I finally got them dialed in but I went to a demo day and I really liked the look of these clubs. There's good offset (I like and need a little offset), and they are larger than many irons so they give me a good degree of confidence. The sound is fine at contact... but even if it wasn't, my accuracy has tightened up even more. I've read a few posts where owners of these irons are talking about the finish and I somewhat see what they are talking about. But they are irons and they are going to get some amount of "dingage" every round, and every time you take them in and out of your car. Having said all those points... I think this iron is one of the best Ping has produced. If you demo these irons, I think you will (at minimum) be able to appreciate this next level of iron from Ping.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love these irons!! I bought this set about 4 and months ago and what a difference it's made in my game. I had them matched up with recoil graphite shafts. OH MY what a difference!!The ball flight is high and long even on mishits. So far I have lowered my scores by 8 strokes!!! I would Strongly recommend these irons to anyone trying to improve their game!!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Terrific feeling irons, wear poorly, age quickly As many others have noted, these clubs feel terrific. However, also as many others have noted, they show wear and tear at a ridiculous level. I purchased these irons in November 2018, and already they look to be about 4 years old. So I’m torn on a rating and recommendation. They feel great. And they look worn out already. For the significant money I spent, the latter doesn’t seem right.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hitting it longer Instantly 10 yards longer. They look and sound great. Only two rounds in, but I'm excited to lower my score this year.

I recently ordered a 5 and 6 iron. Currently how long does it take to receive these irons via the custom spec option? Also do custom spec irons come directly from Ping to the purchaser or do the come from Ping to tgw then shipped to the purchaser?

Asked by: DJ
Custom club orders are shipped directly from the manufacturer. Please allow approximately 3-4 weeks for delivery, depending on demand at the manufacturer's facility.

I never use a 4 iron. Can I order a set of G700 without the 4 iron? Is that subtracted from the total cost? How much would that lower the cost?

Asked by: MickeyP
If you use the Enter Custom Specs tab located above the photo of the club, you can select only the clubs you wish to include in your set. It will add the cost as you go. Individual irons start at $150 per irons.

This feature adds weight to the perimeter of the club, balancing the center of gravity location in each iron and increasing forgiveness while maintaining distance on off-center hits.
