A new ABS badge in the true cavity-back design is 8.5g lighter. Combined with an injection-molded elastomer insert, it allows for more perimeter weighting to increase MOI in the mid and long irons, achieving an 11% reduction in dispersion.
Customizable Loft Options
Available in standard, power spec, and retro spec lofts, the i240 allows fitters to further optimize performance for your game — ensuring you can consistently hit your distance numbers and stop the ball close to the hole.
Technology
- ABS Cavity Badge & Elastomer Insert: Discretionary weight created by the cavity badge and elastomer insert is used to increase forgiveness, most appreciably in the mid and long irons, for improved MOI and an 11% reduction in dispersion.
- Improved Sound & Feel: The injection-molded elastomer and ABS badge are engineered together for a softer, more responsive feel with a more desirable acoustic signature at impact.
- Perimeter-Weighted 431 Stainless Steel: A 431 stainless steel cast head with perimeter weighting delivers the player-preferred size and shape that promotes distance control and maximum height on approach shots.
- Wider-Spaced Grooves: Groove spacing is optimized to promote more spin from the fairway, helping you control the ball and stop it closer to the hole.
- Tungsten Toe Screw & Shaft Tip Weights: Precisely positioned tungsten weights in the toe and at the shaft tip are used to fine-tune swing weight for consistent feel and performance across the set.
- Power & Retro Spec Loft Options: Fitters can further optimize performance by selecting power spec lofts (stronger) or retro spec lofts (weaker) to match the player's desired trajectory and yardage gaps.
