Q & A

Overview

  • Callaway's Jailbreak Technology now features an hourglass glass shape, making them 25% lighter.
  • The new X-Face architecture strategically makes parts of the club face thicker and thinner for faster speed all over.
  • Triaxial carbon material in the crown saves more weight, relocating it to the perimeter of the head for higher MOI (stability).
  • It's perfect for all types of golfers, adding ball speed for distance and greater forgiveness to find more fairways.

Features

  • Jailbreak Technology has been redesigned to save more weight while stiffening the crown and sole
  • Triaxial carbon crown saves weight and redistributes it in a new high-MOI head shape for maximum forgiveness
  • Boeing Aero Package redefines the shape of the leading edge and Speed Step technology for better airflow and faster head speed
  • New X-Face Architecture uses varying thickness to promote faster ball speed across a larger area of the club face
  • Wide range of premium after-market shafts available in every weight class for custom performance
  • Includes headcover

Improved Jailbreak Technology

The internal titanium bars have been redesigned into an hourglass shape for even more weight savings. Jailbreak bars stiffen the crown and sole to promote faster ball speed in the face while now allowing weight to be placed elsewhere for more forgiveness.

New High-MOI Head Shape

Triaxial carbon crown is lightweight and strong, redistributing weight to the perimeter of the club head to significantly increase forgiveness, giving you longer, straighter shots even on off-center hits.

Boeing Aero Package

Boeing and Callaway developed the Speed Step technology used in previous drivers. Now the leading edge has been redesigned to improve airflow and deliver faster club head speed.

New X-Face Architecture

X-Face uses a variable face thickness design, strategically placing thicker and thinner sections where you need them to give you the ideal performance no matter where you strike the ball.

The Callaway Rogue drivers feature an extensive choice of shaft offerings to fit any golfer.

Callaway Men's Rogue Driver Aldila Quaranta 40 is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 104.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great club for all skill levels Super helpful in increasing my ability to hit more straight drives. Very happy with the club, I just wish I had waited a few weeks for the Father’s Day sale which would have saved me another $100. Disappointed in the cost, very happy with the club.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not for me. Looks nice but I hated the sound and feel. Club just did not work for me. Traded it back in for a Ping G400 LST, which I played with during my sons rental clubs on a recent vacation.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good driver i bought this club a couple weeks ago spent time on driving range when i hit the sweet spot i did hit it 15 yards longer. the shaft is 2 inches longerthan my old 44 inch i will cut it down so i hit the sweet spot more often

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to hit squarely! I've had this driver for about a month, which for me means about 5 rounds of golf. I have to admit there might really be something to the "jailbreak technology". In my 50 years of playing golf, I seem to square up on more tee shots than with any other previous driver. I know my swing is inconsistent...so it must be the Rogue driver. I originally was going after the Callaway Epic, but I could not pass on last year's "Rogue", which as far as I can tell is essentially the same club (but $150 less expensive!)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Technology Works Well I really like this driver. When you strike it between the bars, the ball really jumps off the face and I get more distance than my previous driver.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Long, Straight, and Forgiving I have played golf for nearly fifty years and have played most of the major brands. For the record I am an avid Ping iron advocate and have a difficult time of not employing thirteen if not fourteen of their clubs in my bag. One of my playing buddies let me hit his Rogue driver and I liked it so much that when I had the opportunity I put it and the 4 wood in my bag. I really prefer a fixed hosel but I like the seamless way the shaft and club-head are presented here. It is as long, forgiving and accurate as any driver that I have employed. The 4 wood is crazy easy to hit from either fairway or from a tee. . I love both the look of these clubs and the subdued honest feel. Most highly recommend. FYI I play to a 10 handicap

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy adjustment I bought this about a month ago. I was fitted for it but bought it based on my own research for best price. It was easy to set up and adjust. Callaway had videos on line to help plus I spoke to a Callaway Customer Service person who was helpful. The club has met my expectations.

what is the difference between rogue and rogue subzero drivers?

Asked by: uvaloki
The Sub Zero model has a slightly different head shape that keeps the center of gravity low and deep for to help reduce spin. It also has two interchangeable sole weights to provide more control over spin and launch.

What do the numbers, 50, 60 mean with the clubs?

Asked by: Bill
The numbers listed with the shaft option refer to the weight class of the shaft. For example, the Aldila Synergy 50 shaft will be in the 50 gram weight class, weighing 50-59 grams.

What shaft would give me the highest launch on the Epic driver 10.5 .  I usually have a low ball  flight and I would like to increase that to a higher one . I am  a 20 handicap

Asked by: Steve
The Aldila Quaranta 40 is the highest launch shaft option for this driver. However the Project X EvenFlow Blue 60 (a mid-launch shaft) is the only shaft option we have remaining in stock for the 10.5° driver.
