TaylorMade Spider Tour Red Putter

Sleek Design, Tour-Proven Roll

The choice for many of the best players in the world, TaylorMade Spider Tour putters are modern mallets that features enhanced perimeter weighting to provide more stability at impact and better performance on mis-hits. They features TaylorMade’s Pure Roll insert, which combines 45-degree grooves and soft polymer to create incredible feel and more topspin, the latter of which gets the ball rolling more quickly for improved distance and speed control. Additionally, there are no sightlines on the crown of the Spider Tour Red putter for players who prefer a completely clean look at address. Also of note, while this is a modern mallet design, the Spider Tour Red is not face balanced like many mallets and actually has 38 degrees of toe hang, which means it will work best for players with a moderate or slight arc in their putting stroke.

TaylorMade Spider Tour Red Putter is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 10.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great feel; well balanced. To me this putter is much better than my old Scottie Cameron putter. I can judge speed and distance so much better; it gives more confidence.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Probably the best putter I've ever used Been gaming this for about 2 months now. I also tried the tour black and platinum. I don't like the black insert but the red and platinum I think are both great. Different but great. The tour red insert is a little softer I think. I think the extra little toe flow just fits my stroke a little better than the platinum. Been a Scotty user for 10+ years but sadly no more, the tour red is in the bag to stay...for at least the rest of the season :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Roll This putter creates great visuals as you line up your putt. It makes your putt roll to the hole as smoothly as any putter I have ever seen.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from good setup visually I have one major problem with this putter. The grooved lines have a major problem with picking up sand etc on the face and are difficult to remove.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great feel, after I switched out the grip I just recently bought the Red Spider Tour putter, so still getting use to the roll out of this putter compared to my Scotty GoLo putter that I had been using for a few years. The ball definitely comes off of the face of the Spider with more top spin which leads to a better rolling ball than my Scotty. I think that the feel of this putter face when making contact with the ball is better/softer than the Scotty, which I prefer. I switched the grip out for a Super Stroke Pistol grip. I wish that this putter came stock with more grip options than the one that it came with. In today's world, with all the different ways that players grip a putter there needs to be more than one grip option.
