TaylorMade Men's M2 Fairway

Dominant In Every Detail Of Performance

TaylorMade’s M2 fairway woods were designed with one simple goal in mind: to give golfers maximum distance and forgiveness in a fairway wood. M2 features a shallow face to help improve launch, especially from the fairway, and a larger sweet spot that keeps ball speeds high on shots struck low on the clubface or off the heel or toe. The stock shaft for the M2 fairway woods is the TM REAX, which comes in 55 and 65 gram models, but multiple premium shafts are also available at no upcharge.

Ideal For:

Golfers of all ability levels who want to launch the ball high with their fairway woods while not sacrificing distance or forgiveness. The M2 fairway woods don’t have the adjustable weights or loft sleeve of the M1, but its growing reputation for being extremely easy to hit, especially off the turf, has made M2 a popular choice with members of TaylorMade’s tour staff.

TGW Customer Feedback on the TaylorMade M1 and M2 Fairway

Chris Schram of TGW talks with a TGW customer about the TaylorMade M1 and M2 Fairways.

Carbon Composite Crown

The lightweight materials used in constructing the crown enabled engineers to shift weight and mass lower and closer to the M2’s impact zone, resulting in improved launch and spin conditions.

Redesigned Speed Pocket

A larger sweet spot that creates max forgiveness and reduced spin are functions of what TaylorMade calls its “most aggressive” Speed Pocket.

Best In Class Sound

The M2 uses a fluted hosel and internal acoustic engineering to control vibration and pitch, with the result being excellent feedback at impact and a sound that is solid, hot, and crisp.

What They're Saying...

“It’s just so easy to hit.”

Justin Rose, PGA Tour player and 2013 U.S. Open champion

“For us, in terms of fairway wood performance and maximizing distance and forgiveness, it’s M2. It’s basically a cannon. It gets up, launches, and it goes forever.”

Brian Bazzel, TaylorMade Senior Director of Product Creation for Metalwoods

What Players Like You Are Saying...

“I do not do well with fairway woods off the deck, but I was able to hit (the M2) off the deck better than what I’m playing right now.”

TGW customer Mike, 9 handicap, live testing at TaylorMade, 3/9/16

“The M2 felt a little bit more forgiving on mis-hits. The shallower face looks good in inspiring confidence that I can launch this high if I need to.”

TGW customer Chris, 2 handicap, live testing at TaylorMade, 3/9/16

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great features When I bought this item I though it was a little to much money but now that i have it I love the m2 it makes me more consistent with my shot but one thing is my friend has this same club but got it in a regular flex and he lost distance but again he became more consistent with his shot I on the other hand lost no yardage because I got the stiff flex and I became more consistent also so I say if you were to buy any wood I would totally tell you to get the m2

Rated 5 out of 5 by from High and Straight As with most equipment today, working the ball has become more difficult. So If your looking for something that goes straight, forgiving and a soft feel, you can't go wrong with this club. Did I mention expect to get a few more yards as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great club I wish that I would have bought a HL long ago. For those that have a problem getting height from the fairway, this is the perfect club. Looks good too!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I wanted Very happy adding this to my bag. Had been using a very reliable RBZ stage 2-3 wood. Great price and delivery as usual!
Date published: 2017-02-03
Rated 5 out of 5 by from great 3w Looks great set up to the ball, great trajectory, very consistent, very good distance. The M2 3W doesn't seem prone to high flare shots to the right. The sound is duller than the high pitched "ting" of older clubs, but easy to get used to. Every thing you would want in a 3W.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from M2 Fairway 3 & 5 I bought the clubs right before I was going on a golf trip so the first time I hit them was on the driving range before the first round... They are great! Very forgiving and straight. Excellent!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Clubs It was finally time to bid my trusty Adams 3 and 5 woods adieu and these looked like a nice replacement. I tried the hitting standard lofts at the local golf store, but my trajectories were lower than I like because these clubs produce less spin. They didn't have the higher lofts in stock, so I took a chance and ordered them from TGW. I couldn't be happier with them. I much prefer the deep "thunk" these clubs make over most others. Even with the higher trajectory, they're about as long as the Adams woods, but markedly straighter on mishits. The only thing I don't like is the black faces...they look nice when new, but they just don't hold up well at all with use.
