PING Men's G400 Crossover Hybrids ALTA CB is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 17.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Really long! This is a great club to go to for short par 4s, off of the tee, as well as approach shots on par 5s where you need to hit it straight. It's pretty forgiving on mishits, but you will lose some distance there, and the club will definitely let you know when you miss it, as you'll feel it and know you didn't catch it right. However, when you do connect with this thing it is pure joy. As an example, I had a long par 4 the other day where I had about 195 yards into the green, which is the optimal distance for my 4/22° crossover. I absolutely flushed this club and the strangers I was paired with I could hear the oohs and aahs when they saw the ball heading straight for the pin with a nice little baby draw on it, giving me a 15 foot birdie putt. I also use this on one specific hole on my home course where I need to draw the ball around the corner at about 180 yards, where the fairway runs out into trees. I can count on this club to deliver time and time again. This club has essentially ended years of frustration and inconsistency with my 4 iron. This is straight up my go to club when I am unsure of what to hit in a tight window either off of the tee, or in the fairway, or to even recover from the rough. Solid club to add to your bag for sure.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bye bye hybrid. I have the 3 crossover. Love this club. Sensational off the tee on short par 4's. Ping - get going and offer a 2 crossover.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Shaft tip breakage I bought this a few months ago, using crossover 3i the shaft tip broke, not too impressed with the quality. I would not have wrote this review only for a friend of mine encountered the same issue with the same club. Hardly think this is a coincidence.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great option off of the tee.. This club boasts of being great from both the tee and the fairway/rough, but I’ve found it best used as an option from the tee on tight fairways.. Out of the rough, for me at least, the ball flight just wasn’t predictable.. I prefer a standard hybrid in those situations..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to hit I was initially skeptical but after hitting a few balls during my fitting it was a must have. Much more accurate than a hybrid. Great club off the tee for a short par 4 as you can find the fairway easily with good distance. Also great for layups on a par 5 where you want to position to a certain yardage or spot or just get yourself back in play. Comes thru rough well. My new favorite club.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth the Price #3/19. Second time on the range and getting 20-30 more yards on every swing. It took a little getting used to as any new club would be the first time on the range. Should save me 4-6 strokes a round because I used to hit a ping zing 1 iron off the tee.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wicked The pro at my local shop just outside Barcelona recommended this club as a substitute for my hybrid. I now call it “The Beast”. This 4 iron is definitely my favorite club in my bag and I have the 3 on order.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Convinced I have to admit I was a bit skeptical about the crossover clubs. That is until I hit the G400 4 crossover. As easy to hit as any hybrid and every bit as long. Love the club.

My legacy Ping Eye 2's have the Orange Dot I do not see the Orange Dot option on the cross overs. Which color matches or replaces the orange dot which is the lie angle?

Asked by: wishIcouldhitemstraight
Unfortunately, this club does not come with the option to have the clubs lie angle changed to 2.25 degrees flat. The lowest that this club can go to is .75 degrees flat. We apologize for any inconvenience.
