• Precision-Milled Wheel-Cut Grooves: Grooves are precision-milled to varying dimensions depending on loft. The 54°–62° options feature more tightly spaced MicroMax grooves; the 46°–52° wedges have a 20-degree sidewall milled to maximize groove volume for greater control on full shots.
• Friction-Adding Face Blast: Applied after the QPQ Midnight finish, the contrasting face blast enhances alignment at address and adds friction to deliver the launch and spin control needed to play with precision from all distances.
• QPQ Midnight Finish: The Quench-Polish-Quench process produces a durable anti-glare finish that is significantly more wear-resistant than PVD coatings, maintaining its dark appearance through heavy use while eliminating sun glare at address.
• Investment-Cast 8620 Carbon Steel: The head is forged from premium 8620 carbon steel with a larger and re-shaped elastomer insert for exceptional feel and sound at impact with tour-preferred feedback on every shot.
• Optimized Loft-Based CG Design: Lower-lofted options (46°–50°) use a straighter leading edge and lower, more centered CG for better gapping. Mid-lofts (50°–54°) employ a full-length bottom groove and higher CG for distance control. Higher lofts (56°–62°) feature more visual offset and a smaller hosel for confidence around the greens.
• 6 Grind Options, 25 Loft/Grind Combinations: The S259 family includes B, H, S, W, T, and Eye 2 (E) grinds. The E-grind was re-shaped for a more familiar look at address while maintaining high performance from sand. The T-grind features a steeper trail edge for sitting very low on open-face shots. New 50° and 52° W-grind options add versatility for golfers with steeper angles of attack.
