- Designed with Adam Scott — Where Tour Feedback Meets Innovation: The OZ.1 design process started over a pint with Adam Scott. He offered two guiding references: the rear end of a 2021 high-performance German sports car and one of the most iconic mallet putters in golf history. L.A.B. Golf translated those references into a half-moon shape that is, in their own words, 'the most normal mallet putter we've ever created in terms of sound and feel.' The collaboration resulted in angled milling in the flange that doubles as a subtle but effective alignment feature.
- Patented Lie Angle Balance — Zero Torque in a Traditional Shell: All the science of Lie Angle Balance lives inside this tour-inspired shell. Sole weighting and a 2-degree shaft lean align the shaft with the putter's center of mass, keeping the face square to the lie angle throughout the stroke. The OZ.1 also introduces a 0-degree shaft lean option — allowing golfers who prefer a more vertical shaft position to use conventional putter grips while still benefiting from L.A.B.'s technology.
- All-Aluminum Solid Body — L.A.B.'s Signature Soft Feel: Constructed entirely from 6061 aircraft aluminum with a Type-3 anodized finish, the OZ.1 delivers the soft, buttery impact feel that L.A.B. Golf mallet fans associate with the DF3. No inserts, no additives — pure aluminum, pure feel. Golfers who love the way the DF3 sounds and feels at impact will find the OZ.1 familiar and immediately comfortable.
- Maximum MOI — Forgiveness and Stability That Match the DF3: Despite its more conventional appearance, the OZ.1 was engineered to deliver forgiveness and stability levels on par with the DF3 and MEZZ.1 MAX. Off-center strikes stay close to the intended line, and the putter's overall stability through the hitting zone encourages a smooth, consistent stroke.
