Co-designed with 14-time PGA Tour winner Adam Scott, the OZ.1 translates tour feedback into a half-moon mallet shape — the most normal-looking, normal-feeling mallet L.A.B. Golf has built, with angled flange milling that doubles as a subtle alignment aid.

Zero-torque technology lives inside a traditional shell. Sole weighting and a 2° shaft lean align the shaft with the center of mass to keep the face square through the stroke — with a new 0° shaft lean option for golfers who prefer a vertical shaft and conventional grips.

Built entirely from 6061 aircraft aluminum with a Type-3 anodized finish, the OZ.1 delivers the soft, buttery impact feel L.A.B. fans know from the DF3. No inserts, no additives — pure aluminum, pure feel — with maximum MOI for DF3-level forgiveness and stability.

Technology

  • Lie Angle Balance: Sole weighting and a 2° shaft lean align the shaft with the putter's center of mass, keeping the face square to the lie angle throughout the stroke for true, zero-torque roll.
  • 0° Shaft Lean Option: A new optional 0° shaft lean lets golfers who prefer a more vertical shaft position use conventional putter grips while still benefiting from L.A.B.'s technology.
  • 6061 Aluminum Solid Body: A fully solid, all-aluminum body with a Type-3 anodized (Black) finish delivers L.A.B.'s signature soft, buttery feel — no inserts, no additives.
  • Maximum MOI: Engineered for forgiveness and stability on par with the DF3 and MEZZ.1 MAX — off-center strikes stay close to the intended line through the hitting zone.
  • Alignment Milling: Angled milling in the flange, born from the Adam Scott collaboration, doubles as a subtle but effective alignment feature.
