Cleveland RTZ 2 Tour Rack Adapt Full Face Wedge

Who It’s For

Skilled players who live around the green and open the face often. ADAPT is the specialty grind in the RTZ 2 lineup — 8° of bounce, sole relief on the heel, toe and trailing edge, and a raw Tour Rack head for the least glare and the most spin. Available in 56°, 58° and 60°, right-handed.

Cleveland RTZ 2 Adapt full-face grooves and high-toe face shape

Full-Face Precision

ADAPT is more than a sole grind. It has its own high-toe face shape, extended groove length and reworked leading edge. The bigger face and longer grooves hold spin, flight and stopping power on open-face shots, where added loft naturally pushes the strike higher on the face and toward the toe — past where standard grooves end.

Raw, and Built to Your Specs

Tour Rack heads are unplated raw Z-Alloy — the same tour-authentic build the world’s best players compete with. Z-Alloy’s rust-resistant properties keep a raw head performing like new far longer, and every Tour Rack wedge ships with a True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issue S400 shaft. Custom grinds, bending, engraving and paintfill are all available.

Technology

  • ADAPT Grind with Bounce Chamfer — A raised, flattened leading edge reduces digging on both square and open-face shots. Combined with sole relief on the heel, toe and trailing edge, it opens up shot options from tight lies and soft sand alike.
  • Full-Face Grooves — Grooves run the full width of the high-toe face, so open-face strikes toward the toe still find groove instead of blank steel.
  • Z-Alloy — Proprietary steel that is softer, less dense and remarkably durable, giving the wedge superior feel, better forgiveness and more consistency. On Tour Rack, its rust-resistant properties keep a raw head like new for longer.
  • ZipCore iQ — A uniquely optimized hosel core for each loft and grind combination. Lightweight core variations redistribute mass for more reliable performance on center and off-center strikes.
  • HydraZip — Face blasts and laser-milled lines maximize spin in wet conditions, dynamically configured by loft grouping to balance spin across lofts.
  • UltiZip — Sharper grooves cut through grass and debris at contact, while deeper grooves make space for grass, sand, dirt or water to clear the impact zone.
  • Rotex Milling — Rotational face milling roughens the face to generate more predictable, consistent spin and maximum stopping power from the rough.
  • Grind-Specific Leading Edges — Each leading-edge radius is tailored to work in unison with its sole shape and bounce profile for improved turf interaction.
  • Roger Cleveland Approved Shaping — Shaped to the specs of founder Roger Cleveland and refined on tour from the DNA of the original 588 wedge.
