Q & A

Mizuno Men's JPX 919 Forged Irons

Overview

  • Mizuno JPX 919 Forged irons feature a new club face to create their fastest-ever forged clubs in terms of ball speed.
  • The reverse-milled face is machined from the sole up, creating a larger area of the thinnest face areas for consistently faster ball speeds all over.
  • These clubs are forged from 1025 carbon steel for the best feel around, made with the Grain Flow Forged HD process for proper feedback.
  • A trace amount of Boron makes these clubs stronger and allows for greater design possibilities while maintaining that signature feel.
  • The new Stability Frame design is open in the heel portion to fine-tune sound and vibration while enhancing stability and launch.
  • Chrome plating with a new, more durable pearl brush finish lasts longer and looks softer in the sun.
  • JPX 919 Forged irons are ideal for a large array of golfers with balanced performance and something for everything: speed, distance, forgiveness, stability, feel, and feedback in a more refined profile.

Features

  • Grain Flow Forged HD construction
  • Stability Frame design
  • Reverse-milled face
  • Pearl brush finish
  • Custom shaft and grip options at no up-charge

Stability Frame Design

The new Stability Frame design takes weight out of the heel and pushes it out lower in the toe area to reinforce vibration at the proper frequency for maximum feedback. This also moves the sweet spot closer to the center of the face and brings the center of gravity deeper for improved launch.

Grain Flow Forged HD Construction

Mizuno JPX 919 Forged irons are forged from a single billet of 1025 mild carbon steel with a trace of Boron for that unmistakable feel Mizuno is known for, plus even more strength. The Grain Flow Forged HD process (used for the first time in the JPX line) compacts more grain into the impact area to produce even more feedback.

Reverse-Milled Face

JPX 919 Forged irons are CNC milled from the sole up, creating a larger area of the thinnest face areas for consistently faster ball speeds all over. That weight saving from the face creates a lower, deeper center of gravity for easier-launching long and mid irons.

Pearl Brush Finish

Mizuno's JPX 919 family of irons all feature a unique pearl brush finish that is even more durable and looks softer out in the sunlight.
