Mizuno Men's JPX 900 Tour Irons

Players Golf Irons With Aggressive JPX Style

There’s no mistaking in looking at them that the JPX 900 Tour irons were designed for elite ball-strikers. With their thin toplines, minimal offset, and compact blade shapes, JPX 900 Tour irons are among the most aesthetically pleasing players irons on the market. That said, they’re also more forgiving than one might expect thanks to a cavity design that moves valuable weight to the perimeter of the clubhead to increase stability and MOI. Where these irons excel, however, is when it comes to playability, as they deliver a consistent, controlled ball flight and provide tremendous workability. They also have an incredibly soft feel and sound at impact thanks to the forged 1025E Carbon Steel used in the design. The JPX 900 Tour irons come stock with Dynamic Gold S300 shafts (stiff flex), which are designed for lower launch and control, but other custom options are available at no upcharge as well.

Ideal For:

Low-handicap golfers who excel from a ball-striking standpoint. That’s not to say that the JPX 900 Tour irons aren’t competitive with other options in their category when it comes to forgiveness, but these are irons that were built first and foremost for control. For those players, the performance they can expect will be exceptional in terms of feel, workability, and ball flight. Additionally, the 900 Tour is a great looking club visually, both in hand and at address. For those who want similar feel but might need a little bit more in the way of forgiveness, the JPX 900 Forged irons might be a better option.

Mizuno Men's JPX 900 Tour Irons is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best looking players iron, best forged iron PERIOD These irons ar elike butter. Te smaller head is very attractive and definitely inspires confidence and also a lot of control due tot he smaller head size. the matte finsih is a great choice by Mizuno. Dont be afraid to custom order. Mizuno is known for thier 2-3 day turn around time and UPGRADE SHAFTS and GRIPS are FREE. yes no upcahrge by mizuno. pick any shaft you want and any grip, same price. I got c-tapers and golf pride mcc grips. I order from TGW every year and always order custome orders from them and they are best. Now the clubs. I am switching from 714 ap2's. These are slgihtly smaller with a slightly smaller sweet spot but mot by much. I feel more confident with these. Something about the matte finish is very eye appealing. I am a 9 handicapp just geting into single digits last year and these are oozing with confidence. Note they are muhc more weak lofted than other brands. I had mine adjusted 2 degrees stronger. Now these irons are not meant for added distance. if that is what you are looking for then look elsewhere. I am very happy with my distnace and I was a better feel and better dispersion on misses and this meets that criteria for me. I think this will be the best players iron of 2017. Just remember if you are switiching from another players iron like Taylormade PSI forges, Titleist AP2, Mizuno JPX 850 firged, callaway apex pro, you will need to change the loft of these iron plus 1 or 2 otherwise you will see a drop in distance and wonder why. buy custom, get nice shafts and grips for free. its worth the short 1-2 weeks if that.
