Q & A

PING Men's G410 Plus Driver

Overview

  • The PING G410 driver is the first sliding weight driver from PING, built for speed, distance, and customizable performance.
  • A movable 16-gram tungsten weight slides around the skirt of the clubhead to three different positions: neutral in the middle, fade closer to the toe, and draw closer to the heel.
  • Internal Dragonfly Technology redistribute weight saved from the incredibly thin crown to optimize the center of gravity low and back for more distance and forgiveness.
  • The forged face delivers more ball speed across the entire face through a unique process that makes the material stronger, thinner, and hotter for maximum flexibility.
  • An eight-lobe trajectory tuning hosel lets you adjust the lie +/-1.5° as well as choose neutral or flatter lie angles for truly personalized performance.
  • More efficient turbulators and an aerodynamic crown allow for an improved swing with enhanced speed without having to swing harder.
  • The PING G410 driver is ideal for all golfers with its ability to create speed and distance with custom performance for any swing with adjustable CG weighting.

Features

  • Adjustable CG weighting
  • Internal Dragonfly Technology
  • Forged face
  • Eight-lobe trajectory tuning
  • Includes headcover

Adjustable CG Weighting

Built with a low and back center of gravity like all PING drivers, the G410 provides more distance and forgiveness with a new level of adjustability. A 16-gram tungsten weight can be slid along the skirt of the club head into three different positions: straight back for neutral, more toward the tow for fade bias, and more toward the heel for draw bias.

Internal Dragonfly Technology

Internal Dragonfly Technology

This feature contributes to more distance and forgiveness by creating a higher MOI. Weight savings from the ultra-thin crown are redistributed within the club head to optimize the center of gravity location.

Forged Face

Forged Face

A unique forgiving process and patented heat-treatment process of high-strength T9S+ material powers a thinner, hotter club face with maximum flex and higher ball speeds across the entire face.

Eight-Lobe Trajectory Tuning

Eight-Lobe Trajectory Tuning

A lightweight, aerodynamic hosel sleeve adjusts into eight different positions for +/-1.5° of loft adjustment as well as neutral or flat lie angle adjustments.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Want an AMAZING Driver to hit —Buy the Ping 410 Bought this driver a month ago and have loved it since the first day I bought it. The Feel is amazing, gained more yardage off the tee and hit it more fairways than ever before. Driver is worth every penny! Don’t think about buying the driver....Just do it!! You will be happy you did.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from STRAIGHTEST PING DRIVER EVER I had been gaming the G30 for the last several years with GREAT success. Wanted to upgrade but never hit the G400 any better. Tried the G410 with the Tensi Orange shaft and let me tell you! WOW! Love the feel, sound and forgiveness this driver has packed into it! If you're looking for an upgrade, look no farther than G410. Longest, straightest and most forgiving driver I've ever played! Bravo PING!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Driver of All Time Long time Ping fanatic especially in love with the Ping G2, but the Ping 410 Plus with the Mitsubishi Tensei Orange is the best blend of trajectory, distance, feel, sound, and forgiveness that Ping has ever made. First drive out of the plastic wrapping was launched over the trees to within 4 yards of the 293 yard 10th green at Hunter’s Green Country Club in Tampa, FL. It’s awesome!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dream driver After having my old faithful G30 for 5 years I decided to replace it with a new G410 Plus with Atmos Black Tour Spec 7-X. WOW what driver.... finally getting back to being able to shape the ball flight both ways without those ones that get away from you was amazing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 20+ yards on my drives My past two sets have been Pings, but my new G410 driver, fairways and irons are the best yet. I’ve easily added 20 yards to my drives and it’s much more forgiving on my miss hits. I was fitted for a 5 wood head on a 3 wood shaft to replace my current 3 wood and all I can say is unbelievable. I’m getting on several par 5’s in two now. These are great clubs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally a driver which goes long. I'm a very big fan of Ping. I've been using the Ping products since 2010. I've been using the Ping G15 driver for the last 8 years & without complaint. I was getting the average distance of 235-240 yards. But since the last year & a half I've been wanting to change the driver. I tried all but was the now I bought the new G-410 & I'm really very happy with it. I'm getting the distance between 275-300 yards & straight. I would certainly recommend the G410 range to everybody. I luv Ping & please keep the good work going.....

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally hit straight drives I’ve used this Ping G410 for 2 rounds and i am very excited to finally hit drives in the fairway. I’ve used a 917D for 2 years and I have it placed aside growing cob webs now that this 410 has proven to perform in every aspect. I have the ping tour shaft 65 and it is simply a tremendous shaft... props to ping for making such a great driver

What's the best shaft for senior with a 90 swing speed

Asked by: Jeff 60
The Alta CB 55 shaft has a soft regular (senior) flex option available to fit the senior profile.

What is the lightest shaft? I hit the ball high with 10.5 loft. Do I want 9 to turn up to 10 or 10.5 to turn down to 9.5?

Asked by: John2
The Alta CB shaft is the lightest option. If you hit the ball high with 10.5° loft, we could recommend trying the 9° and adjust up if you're ball flight is too low.

What’s the difference between the SFT and the Plus G410 drivers.

Asked by: Howie
The G410 SFT driver has a heel-biased 16-gram tungsten weight that helps correct left-to-right ball flight.

What is the difference between the SFT version and putting the weight in the Plus version in the draw position? Wouldn’t it have the same effect or is the head also offset in the SFT?

Asked by: MartyWRGC
In addition to the fixed weighting, the SFT version has a different profile at address, but is not offset.
