Q & A

PING Men's G410 Fairway

Overview

  • The PNG G410 Fairways are built for a new level of speed, distance, and stability in a versatile fairway design.
  • The center of gravity is aligned with the force line to maximize ball speed and increase stability for added distance and forgiveness.
  • A forged steel face is made of high-strength maraging steel, allowing for a thinner face to increase ball speed and distance.
  • High-density tungsten back weighting increases MOI for more forgiveness, made possible by a thinner crown so more weight can be placed deeper in the head.
  • An eight-lobe trajectory tuning hosel lets you adjust the lie +/-1.5° as well as choose neutral or flatter lie angles for truly personalized performance.
  • PING G410 fairways are ideal for every golfer, providing distance and forgiveness in an area where all golfers can benefit.

Features

  • Optimized center of gravity
  • Forged maraging steel face
  • High-density tungsten back weight
  • Eight-lobe trajectory tuning hosel
  • Includes headcover
Optimized Center of Gravity

Optimized Center of Gravity

The center of gravity is located closer to the face and the sole to transfer more energy at impact for faster ball speed, more distance, and maximum stability and forgiveness.

Forged Maraging Steel Face

Forged Maraging Steel Face

Maraging steel is one of the strongest steels in the world, allowing for a thinner face made with variable thickness for more flexing to increase speed and distance.

High-Density Tungsten Back Weight

High-Density Tungsten Back Weight

The thinner crown of the G410 allows for more weight to be placed deeper in the head and closer to the back for higher MOI, which means more stability and forgiveness.

Eight-Lobe Trajectory Tuning

Eight-Lobe Trajectory Tuning

A lightweight, aerodynamic hosel sleeve adjusts into eight different positions for +/-1.5° of loft adjustment as well as neutral or flat lie angle adjustments.

PING Mens G410 Fairway Mitsubishi Tensei CK Orange 70 is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from It’s like cheating I bot this 9-wood to replace a hybrid that I kept snap hooking out of bounds. Club had been awesome. So forgiving that even when I mishit it, the ball still goes in the intended direction. Perfect for 200 yard shot. Gets me super excited anytime I walk up to a 200 yard shot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ping g410 5 W and 4 Hybrid I was always very happy with my Cobras. But after a great experience being fitted with some G700 irons, I went along to try out the G410 woods. To say I was Impressed is an understatement. Straight long and consistent. Ordered them the same day. Played four rounds now. The 3 wood stays in the bag now! Expensive yes, value for money? Absolutely!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Straight as an arrow I bought the 16 degree SFT with the Tensei shaft. Hard to miss with. Great on short par 4s.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from PING's Best Fairway Wood to Date Played the 7W and 9W today. Super impressed! The G410 fairway wood is better looking (to include the better designed head cover), longer, and easier to hit than any of my previous PING woods (I've had all of them since the G25). The 7W produces better results than my 3W. These high lofted woods work better for me than my hybrids. Very happy! Thanks PING!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A real launcher! The ball just rockets off the face! This one is for real!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Longer and more consistent than my G400 3wd This is one of the longest and easiest to hit 3 woods I've ever had. Longer than G400, and more forgiving, and that was the previous best 3wd I ever hit.

What’s the difference in the shaft names for the specs/ playing ability

Asked by: Chef 1968
The Alta CB shaft is lighter and more flexible with a higher launch profile that works well for more moderate swing speeds. The Mitsubishi Tensei Orange shaft is similar in weight and performance but just a little bit heavier. The PING Tour shaft is the lightest and most flexible and features a mid to low launch depending on flex. The Project X shaft is the heaviest option and is available in stiffer flexes with a low launch that works well for faster swing speeds.
