Zero Restriction Mens GORE-TEX PacLite Traveler Rain Jacket is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from I like this jacket, but it's not perfect (for me) I recently purchased this jacket for a trip to play early spring golf in Denver. The first thing that struck me was how there was no lining. It is basically a shell, the gore tex has a backing but there is no lining like in the ZR Tour jacket. In fairness, there is no claim of a lining in the product description. The second thing that struck me was that my neck height was perfect for the "stand up collar" to poke me in the bottom of the chin. Might just be me, but some might be really annoyed by this. On the course, it worked OK against the wind. It really stood out as a rain jacket, very comfortable. In addition, the "zero restriction" claims are not overblown. I was able to swing freely while wearing it. I needed to wear another layer underneath for the wind protection and because I don't like the feel of the sleeves on my arms (another personal peeve). Some mentioned that the jacket rode up in the back. This does happen, but it is necessary to have a free swing. All in all, I like the jacket and will keep it. I would have liked it to be my everything jacket given the price and the few times I play in cold/rain conditions- but it is not. However, it does a great job on the rain. Couldn't ask for a better rain option.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from CAN'T BEAT GORE-TEX I bought this to replace my previous rainsuit which was from a respectable manufacturer (a name every golfer knows), but had a specific flaw. Yes, it was completely waterproof, but when you took it off the clothes you were wearing were as wet from sweat/condensation as they would have been had you not worn a rainsuit. The Zero Restriction PacLite is the perfect rain gear. It folds into a small enough size to fit into my golf bag and not be a big lump. And when you take it out, it doesn't look like it's been stuffed into your golf bag. The nicest part is it breathes and leaves you dry! I also like that I can remove the sleeves completely and wear it as a vest; or just remove half the sleeves. After running it through two washings as of this writing, it still looks new and doesn't require any unnecessary laundering magic. There were only two things I didn't like: One is the sleeve cuffs. I prefer something with a drawstring inside the end to cinch up. This has knit ribbed cuffs like a sweatshirt which I find binding. Two, the price is higher than I expected to pay. I can't imagine paying over $400 just for a rainsuit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This systems rain jacket is just what I was looking for depending on the weather conditions. If I had to make a small negative comment it would be that the body length is on the short side.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from ZR has thought of everything with this jacket. Finally I have a jacket that I can wear in the rain or even during those early morning cooler starts. The versatility is awesome....as you heat up....take off half a sleeve, then the rest of the entire jacket. Putting the sleeves back on is easy as ZR has marked wear to start. My only complaint is that is a little short in the body for my liking but I am learnign to live with it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fit was a little off I've got a pretty athletic build (6'1" and 185lbs), and I'm usually between a large and a medium depending on the item. I went with the large jacket, and it just didn't quite fit right. The shoulders were too wide, and the jacket was too short (kept pulling up over the back of my pants and i was tugging it down constantly). Had I gone w the medium, shoulders might have fit but jacket would have been way too short... had to send back. Too bad, everything else about the jacket was awesome. If they make a longer version, I'd give it another shot.
