Q & A

XXIO Men's Prime X Irons

XXIO's Prime X irons are designed to help golfers with moderate swing speeds achieve straighter ball flight with greater distance in an easy-to-swing package. A new iron face design uses Super-TIX Plus Titanium and a CNC-milled speed groove to increase speed and distance with a larger, hotter sweet spot.. The Prime X irons are more forgiving thanks to a shorter iron profile and high-density tungsten nickel sole weights.

Features:

  • New iron face design made from Super-TIX PLUS Titanium and a CNC-milled speed groove for a larger sweet spot, increased speed, and greater distance
  • High-density tungsten nickel sole weights combine with a shorter iron profile for even greater forgiveness
  • New XXIO Prime SP-1000 graphite shaft made with carbon fiber and resin materials to produce more speed and distance in a smooth, easy-to-swing profile
  • Expertly crafted for moderate swing speeds

Would changing the grips to jumbo affect the performance of these irons? How? And what is the basic differences in performance between the Prime and X irons? Thanks

Asked by: Van
Larger grips can help your performance, mostly through using lighter grip press and calming the hands through the swing, helping you keep the club square at impact. The Prime irons feature a different material in the club face as well as the CNC-milled speed groove on the bottom of the face, creating a larger sweet spot and hotter face.
