Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Ball, especially for the price! I'm 71 and have lost a lot of swing speed due to various health issues and age. My handicap depends on my short game, but I lose too much distance with the urethane balls which have a higher compression. I had tried the DUO and liked everything about it except chipping and pitching. A friend suggested I try the DUO SPIN. It is now my go-to ball. It is not quite as good as a urethane ball around the green, but MUCH better than any other surlyn ball I've used. Much better feel than an NXT, for instance. Plus it feels great and rolls true off the putter. I have seen no loss in distance from the regular DUO. My wife has also switched to it to improve her short game. Did I say the price is awesome? TGW had them on sale at 2 for $35 with free shipping for purchases over $49, so I bought 8 dozen

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Totally Decent. This ball feels great to play. Putting is soft and smooth. And almost can't even feel the impact when hit with irons. I wish it had a bit more spin though. But my favorite ball by far is the Duo Urethane.. which gives me a bit more distance off the tee, and more feel and control around the greens. The Duo-U's are a bit pricey for me to stock up on. So the Duo Spins are a decent and cheaper option sometimes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good ball great price Good all around ball. Probably not a good enough player to notice the spin difference but I did not notice any bad reactions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Straighter drives, bites the greens Straighter than Bridgestone off the tee, bites as well as a Pro V on the green. I got a sleeve in a scramble and love them. I play the 50 elite in practice rounds, and the DUO when in counts. You can shape them left to right, or right to left. My favorite aspect is how much straighter the ball flies off the driver. I can't get enough of it. If you slice a Pro V, they are 20 yards off target, if you slice a DUO it is 10 yards off target, you can tell a DUO is working for you in the air.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from performs as advertised I wanted a reasonable priced ball that would not compromise "performance" completely. Duo Spin feels great and performs well. Excellent ROI!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My Duo 'Spin' replaced the Titleist Pro V's !!! Let me say that I've played this game for sixty years, eight handicap (although that figure is meaningless, since handicap is about short game scoring), and I always loved the Balata ball. Since the balata was discontinued around 2000, I've never been happy with the ball technology out there. All have hard cores that just don't have very good feel off the face, especially with the irons. Some are better than others. That being said, a friend had me try the 'Duo'. I loved the soft feel with the irons, but the compression was too soft/low for my drives. My swing speed is around 100 with the driver, so I decided that I needed a little more compression, and tried the 'Spin'. Worked perfectly...soft and great distance !!! These are the best balls I've played since the wound balata's. I've dropped the Titleist line altogether, sImply because they'really too hard for me. The Duo 'Spin' three piece Ionomer, is soft off the face, and still long of the tee. I recommend this ball to everyone...the best ball out there (and at a great price). Saying that, I haven't played the Staff 'pro' four piece, higher compression ball ball in a while, but would find it hard to give me better feel and results. You'll love this ball !!!
