Rated 3 out of 5 by from not great Pros: easy to use, quickly identifies the target and returns the distance Cons: no zoom feature, no elevation calculation, durability and reliability? I have owned this rangefinder less than two years (purchased from TGW) and have always operated it in the mode measuring Yardage with Audio = On. I decided to change it to vibrate mode but the unit will not allow me to change the measurement settings. If I want it repaired I will have to pay shipping plus repair costs because the 1 year warranty has expired. If I could do it over I would go with a Bushnell.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good product Got rangefinder a week ago. It works as advertised. Lightweight, a little hard to steady on target but responds well. Would recommend product. Out of stock when first ordered and Tgw would not work with me on delivery since I was out of country when it finally came in, which was disappointing.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Rangefinder This is an easy to use rangefinder - just aim at target and press trigger. It easily picks up the flag, and can pick up other targets as well (bunkers etc.). The large viewfinder means you do not have to remove sunglasses to see the target. The only nice to have would be a zoom function, but otherwise it works very well and is priced right.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quick, Accurate, Convenient I play golf with lots of guys using other rangefinders and GPS devices. While they are focusing in or waiting to update I simply point and shoot, tell them the yardage and move on. Holding this unit away from your eye makes a world of difference in terms of easy use. The new unit solves a couple of old problems that the original laserlink product had. Point it at a target and shoot. The old need for a reflector to bounce off of is a thing of the past.

I wouldn't recommend to do that as we believe it will void the warranty. Please send into laser link to have this item properly maintenanced.

When I press the on switch the readout is Lob. what does this mean?

Asked by: Vic
LOB stands for Low on Battery. Many times this comes from using non-alkaline batteries or from letting a battery die in the unit. You must use alkaline batteries only. Non-alkaline batteries don't generate enough current for the laser to operate properly.
