Q & A

Titleist Mens 913D2 Drivers

More Speed, More Distance, More Forgiveness!

Designed and built with a high-speed, forged face insert, the new Titleist 913 D2 drivers are the fastest, most consistent drivers Titleist has ever designed, delivering maximum ball speeds over a large area of the face. They are also Titleist's most playable and forgiving drivers, primarily the result of improved launch conditions from a lower, more optimal center of gravity position, a new rear SureFit Tour weight and the fitting precision provided by the SureFit Tour adjustable hosel.

This customer had it exactly right when he compared the characteristics of the 913D2 to prior generation, 910D2: "I love the 913 D2, saw a dramatic difference in spin rates versus the 910 D2. Using the same Tour AD DI-6 shaft drive were consistently 10-15 yards longer. I attribute this gain to the decrease in spin." (10 Handicap customer from Oklahoma.)

Titleist Mens 913D2 Drivers feature:

  • 460cc full-pear shaped head designed for maximum forgiveness and a slight draw bias
  • Dial-in launch and spin settings precisely using the SureFit Tour hosel
  • New forged, variable thickness face insert, the fastest face insert ever designed by Titleist Golf Club R&D
  • Low, flat sole profile and new SureFit Tour weight on the rear sole optimizes center of gravity for speed and forgiveness
  • Fuller, longer, and more powerful sound at impact
  • Lofts: 8.5 9.5 10.5 12.0
  • Graphite shaft available in Regular Senior Stiff X-Stiff
  • Available in left- and right-hand

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid Performer I like the 45" length of this driver which allows me more control of my swing. I have lost a little distance but have more consistency and accuracy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid driver Great driver, looks great at address, solid and long. Plays at a manageable 45in and is one of the longer more controllable drivers I've played. Love it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Driver ever I've wanted this driver for the longest time; just didn't want to spend $450 for it! So, when the new Titelist drivers came out and this one went on sale, I bought it from my favorite golf dealer; TGW. It's the best driver I've ever owned. Great swing weight, classic head shape and the longest driver I've ever owned. If you can still find one, buy it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Buy this club Played Cleveland then Taylor Made; lots of distance with both but shots left and right of target. Maybe its my swing but with the Taylor Made seemed as if I was always fighting the club. Picked up the Titleist 913, first 3 balls a little fade. changed the setting and from there on in its been 12 of 14 fairways hit. Maybe just a bit shorter than the TM but I'll take fairway any day. I didn't get fitted so maybe there is more I can do with this club. But my advice is buy it, go play it and smile. Its a game changer.

What is the length of the 913D2 driver?

the driver is set at d3 on the shaft, what does that mean, and what is the correct setting fore a draw?

Asked by: goffey
D-3 means you have the driver set 1.5 degrees upright and +.75 deg loft.  What this means is you have it set to highest draw setting (direction) and for trajectory you have it set for +.75 deg over loft of club you purchased.  So for a 12deg loft you now have 12.75 deg loft

Regarding the Titliest shaft, 913 D2, what senior shaft is best for a 80 year old with a 26 handicap. Are the lofts changeable from 9-12.

Asked by: Rich80
The only shaft offered for this club in senior flex is the Bassara W 50 shaft that weighs 48 grams. The lofts are adjustable +1.5° and -0.75°.

what is the difference between titleist 913 D2 and D3 drivers

Asked by: Bob h
The D2 driver is considered the more forgiving club with a higher MOI and slight draw bias due to the CG location. The D3 driver is considered to be for better, more experienced golfers with Tour-inspired shot shaping and control with a more neutral bias.

which shaft on the new d2 driver is right for me?

I do not know which shaft is right for me?
Asked by: Ltm1
shaft weight is in grams and in general determines stiffness-- depending on your swing speed you select your shaft-- assuming 95mph & under -- I'd go senior or reg. shaft or approx 55-65 G

For a senior which shaft is best suited for the D2 driver?

I am over 70.
Asked by: digrodl
Lighter shaft option will typically be better assuming typical swing speed to age ratio. (Solid hits on the upswing; you'll luv this club)
