Overview

  • The M3 440 driver features three new innovations from TaylorMade designed for straight distance and unmatched personalization.
  • Twist Face Technology introduces a new curvature that reduces side spin by altering the loft in areas of common mis-hits to help you find the fairway.
  • The Hammerhead Slot is a redesigned sole slot, included for the first time in TaylorMade's most adjustable driver.
  • Y-Track adjustable weights are a new simple, intuitive way to adjust weight and customize your ball flight.
  • TaylorMade's M3 440 driver is ideal for the golfer who wants adjustability and control with the ability to shape their shot in an even more workable, more compact club head size.

Features

  • Twist Face corrective face curvature reduces side spin in the common mis-hit locations to deliver straighter shots off the tee
  • New Hammerhead Slot in the sole allows for a more flexible club face, creating a larger sweet spot
  • Y-Track adjustability lets you move two 11-gram weights to create high, medium, or low trajectory
  • 4° adjustable hosel to fine-tune loft and personalize launch
  • More compact 440cc club head for added workability
  • Includes headcover

Twist Face

This revolutionary new face curvature increases loft in the high-toe area and decreases loft in the low-heel area to reduce side spin. By limiting spin in these common mis-hit zones, you hit the ball straighter more often.

Hammerhead Slot

This new sole slot design is implemented in TaylorMade's most adjustable driver for the first time. Reinforced outer portions of the slot allow for a lighter, more flexible face while the center portion increases speed on shots hit low on the face and lowers spin to increase distance.

New Y-Track Adjustable Weights

Two 11-gram weights sit in a new Y-track to let you customize launch, trajectory, and ball flight. Split the weights into the outer portions for high trajectory and more forgiveness. Place the weights in the front and back of the front track for medium trajectory or move them both forward for a low, penetrating ball flight.

Adjustable loft sleeve

Adjustable Loft Sleeve

The M3 driver is available in four lofts, each with 4° of adjustable loft and lie to further customize your performance.

TaylorMade Men's M3 440 Driver is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Driver Perfection Picked up the 440 in 9 degree with the Project X Black stiff shaft. All I can say is...you will have to pry this driver out of my cold dead fingers. I went to the range and played around with the adjustments for 20 minutes. I wound up increasing the loft .5 degree (I never have to do that. I attribute it to the low flight and low spin shaft) and moving both weights to the back of the Y. It comes with the weights set in the locations in the picture. I found a few pros, including Tiger, who have the weights pretty far back. Again, it has to do with the shaft combo. I prefer to adjust the club to improve accuracy over distance, and this set up does that. Played my first round with it today. My problem with stock shafts is I hit it too high with too much spin. With that set up and that shaft, I get a low/medium piercing trajectory. I can fade it or draw it 5 yards. I hit a few bad shots today and I sense that the twist face really compensates. This club feels significantly heavier and more solid than the M4, so choose carefully to see what fits you. But so far I love this clubs feel, its workability, its customizability, its trajectory, and its forgiveness.
