Rated 2 out of 5 by from RETRIEVER Obviously I didn't read the description very well. I did not realize that this retriever had a strap and not a pole to retrieve.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well I have used it several times with a lot of success. I have collected over 75 balls in just a few short trips.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to Use I bought this retriever a few weeks ago and it's the best one I have ever used. I it light weight which is important when you are casting it out for an hour at a time. On one of my casts I actually filled the whole tray with balls...unlike some retrievers which are bulky, hard to cast and only pick up a couple at a time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty good product I bought this when the ponds at my course became so cloudy that a regular retriever was no longer usable. Knowing a few spots where balls are frequently lost, I thought this product would be good for blind casting, or retrieving without being able to see anything. Previous reviews did comment on the problem of the metal catcher becoming snagged on objects, and did try to limit how far out I cast it. Despite that, on the second or third use, it became snagged. I had to finally pull very hard, and one of the two small metal rings attaching the strap to the catch snapped. I was able to find a replacement hook in my miscellaneous box for such items. It now works fine, and I try never to cast it too far out. The catch can hold 8 balls, and one time I pulled it in and there were 6 balls present. On two other occasions there were 5. Other than the fragility it looks to be a good product, especially at the price. The nylon strap that it comes with it is entirely too long, but I just folded the excess in to a plastic bag. After using it I coil the unbagged strap and secure it with an elastic band.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The hooks could be thicker or more durable. Lost my first retriever in the water because the hooks snapped.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best ball retriever on the market. Major golf discount stores do not carry this model ball retriever. It is great because I find golf balls that I cannot see. It has a range of 35 feet. I made my money back and more the first day I used it. I strongly recommend it.

Are there any retrievers like this one that can pick up more than 8 at once like I'm talking 10-20?

Asked by: Xethanatox
This is the largest golf ball retriever we have for picking up multiple golf balls at once.

Do you just drag it across the bottom of a pond? If so how do the balls stay in the stretcher?

Asked by: Vanny
You drag slowly. You can feel the ball or balls bouncing against the rail. Drag slowly to prevent the ball or balls from bouncing of the rail.
