General FAQs

Q: What is TGW.com Product Testing Team?
A: TGW.com Product Testing Team enables a group of TGW customers to try products in exchange for honest reviews. Reviews help other consumers make educated purchase decisions on TGW.com or on our affiliated sites. You've been invited to join our Product Testing Team based on the trust you've earned in the TGW.com community for writing accurate and insightful reviews or your involvement in one of TGW's trusted digital communities.

Since Product Testing Team members sometimes receive access to products that are not yet available on the market, your opinions could be among the first TGW.com receives. When products are not yet available to the general public, we'll save your reviews and post them once they are. TGW.com does not influence the opinions of Product Testing Team members, nor do we modify or edit reviews. All reviews collected through this program will be labeled as such on TGW.com or on our affiliated sites.

Q: What types of products do you offer through TGW.com Product Testing Team?
A: Our team at TGW.com carefully selects products to include for our Product Testing Team. We base our selection on what we want your valued opinion on most and what we think you may have an interest in given the information you provide. To increase your chances of being invited to sample products that are relevant to your interests, make sure that you fully complete your Membership Profile when you register.

Q: Am I able to edit my Membership Profile after registering?
A: We do not currently support editing the Membership Profile once it is submitted. If you want to make any changes to your Membership Profile, contact TGW.com Product Testing Team Support and we will send you a new Membership Profile link to complete.

REQUESTING PRODUCTS

Q: When am I able to sign up for products?
A: You will receive a TGW.com Product Testing Team alert email when a product that meets your interests becomes available to test.

These emails are sent to Product Testing Team members in good standing. Good standing means that you consistently review at least 75% of the products we send you - for more detailed information, see the answer to the next question.

Quantities are allocated on a first come, first served basis so act fast. Add reply@email.tgw.com to your email in-box address book, so you don't miss an opportunity!

Q: Am I required to write reviews about all TGW.com Product Testing Team products I select?
A: We require that you write a review for at least three of the first four items you receive before we will send you another invitation. You are required to review 75% of the products you receive on an ongoing basis, but we strongly encourage you to provide reviews on all of them. Doing so contributes to your standing as a Product Testing Team member which influences whether you are included in campaigns to try and review products in the future.

Q: How will I know if I should expect to receive a product?
A: Once the product selection period has ended for a particular offer, you will receive a confirmation email including a tracking number.

Q: If I don't select any products from a campaign, will I be removed from TGW.com Product Testing Team?
A: Rest assured, at this time, no one will be removed from the Product Testing Team for lack of selecting products. You will only be in jeopardy of losing your Product Testing Team privileges if you do not review the Product Testing Team products you do receive. However, if you are inactive for a prolonged period of time, we may contact you to confirm that you are still interested in participating in the program.

Q: How do I cancel or modify my product requests?
A: We do not currently support canceling or modifying TGW.com Product Testing Team product requests at this time.

RECEIVING PRODUCTS

Q: Can you ship TGW.com Product Testing Team products outside of the Contiguous US?
A: Unfortunately, we cannot support shipments outside of the Contiguous US at this time. We hope to develop this capability in the future and apologize to our valued consumers residing outside of this area.

Q: Can you ship TGW.com Product Testing Team products to PO boxes or APO/FPO addresses?
A: Unfortunately, we cannot support shipments to Post Office Boxes or APO/FPO addresses at this time. Be sure to enter a full street address when confirming a product selection, so that we are able to ship to you.

Q: Who will be sending me TGW.com Product Testing Team products?
A: TGW.com Product Testing Team products will be delivered directly by TGW.com or our third party fulfillment partners.

Q: How long will it take for me to receive a product to review once I request it?
A: Once a product selection period has ended, you will receive an email confirming that you should be on the look-out for a product shipment. We make every effort to ship your item(s) as soon as possible following the end of the product selection period. Typically, you'll receive your TGW.com Product Testing Team product(s) within 5-7 business days following shipping. Standard Shipping is the only shipping method available at this time.


Q: It has been over a week and I have not received my TGW.com Product Testing Team product. How can I check status?
A: To determine exactly when your shipment was made, check the tracking number sent in the confirmation email. For further questions, you may contact our TGW.com Product Testing Team Support


Q: The tracking information shows my item as delivered, but I have not received it. Where is my package?
A: All requested product is shipped to the address entered when selecting products to test. If your package was delivered to the wrong address or if your product(s) are missing, please contact our TGW.com Product Testing Team Support to let us know. We may or may not be able to re-ship your order.


Q: How do I update my shipping address?
A: We do not currently keep TGW.com Product Testing Team shipping addresses on record, and all members will need to enter their current shipping address when selecting products to test.


Q: Do I need to / can I return my product(s) after reviewing?
A: No. TGW.com Product Testing Team products are yours to keep. Returns and exchanges are not yet supported by this program.


REVIEWING PRODUCTS

Q: How quickly do I need to post my review?
A: Your review should be posted as soon as possible, but after you've had time to thoroughly use or test the product. Doing so will increase the likelihood that your opinion will be among the first to appear on the product detail page for new items. We ask that you use the method described in the answer to the next question to post your review. That allows us to track your contributions and keep your member standing up to date so you remain eligible to participate in future campaigns.

Q: Where do I post my review?
A: After we believe you've had enough time to form an opinion, we'll send you an email. Simply click on the link(s) in the email and you will be redirected to a review submission form.

Q: Will TGW.com edit my review before publishing it?
A:No. All TGW.com Product Testing Team reviews will be posted on the product's TGW.com detail page or on our affiliated sites' detail pages unedited, regardless of whether they are favorable or not, provided they follow TGW's Review Writing Guidelines.

Q: What should I include in my review?
A: We ask that you provide your honest and unbiased opinion. Please visit TGW's Review Writing Guidelines for additional information.


Q: Where and when will my review appear on the product detail page?
A: TGW.com Product Testing Team reviews will appear on the relevant product detail page on TGW.com or on our affiliated sites along with other customer reviews. Product Testing Team reviews are distinguished from others with a special label. All reviews are moderated to ensure compliance with TGW's Review Writing Guidelines, so there could be up to a 72 hour delay between the time you submit your review and when it appears online.


OTHER QUESTIONS

Q: Can I invite my friends to join TGW.com Product Testing Team?
A: At this time, participation in TGW.com Product Testing Team is limited to select customers who have been invited by TGW.com to join. You can encourage your friends to review products often on TGW.com, if available, or to actively participate in one of our digital communities to increase their chances of being invited to become a member.

Q: May I share products I receive from TGW.com Product Testing Team with my friends and family?
A: Per the TGW.com Product Testing Team Terms and Conditions, you may not sell, exchange / return for money or give possession of the products to any other person or entity.

Q: Will TGW.com be sharing my contact information with vendors?
A: The TGW.com Privacy Policy applies to your participation in TGW.com Product Testing Team and describes our practices regarding collection and use of personal information.

Q: How do I remove myself from the TGW.com Product Testing Team distribution list?
A: You may opt out of future invitations by contacting our TGW.com Product Testing Team Support and requesting to be removed as a member of the Product Testing Team.


Q: Are TGW.com employees eligible to become TGW.com Product Testing Team members?
A: No. TGW employees, their affiliates and suppliers are not eligible.
