Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed I’ve had these since launch and was very excited when I found out about them. Sometimes things just aren’t what you hoped for, that would be these irons. Dead feeling, not consistent. They just are not the great irons I was hoping for.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from They're OK They're OK, expensive for what they are. They're not a forged clubs as stamped on the club, only the center face is. Off center hits suffer greatly in control and distance. Sound on center hits is not all that impressive. Played 8 rounds with them and the finished is already peeling off. All and all, I personal wouldn't buy them again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love the feel and sound of the Club Excellent all round, I hit 15 yards longer than Iblade, awesome club, the club is designed progressive therefore easi to use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unbelievable Irons!!! Been gaming these irons (4-PW, Nippon Modus-3 Tour 105, X Flex) for 3 weeks now, and all I can say is AWESOME! Gained about 1 club length in distance, and no issues with stopping power on greens. Only complaint I have is when hitting off mats these things are loud. But when hitting off the turf it's a non-issue. If you are considering a new iron set purchase, I highly encourage you to give these a try.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Most beautiful, best performing irons I've had! I bought these i500's when they first came out months ago and couldn't believe how well I hit them. I am a 3.8 handicap and have been hitting G400's, but even though these are smaller heads they have exceptional forgiveness.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lov Love the look and finish. Picked up about 7 yards per iron. Sounds great when hit solid.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to play Just bought them a few weeks ago.... after I got over the noise the clubs made on impact - actually went to the shop and had them take a look at it, since they sounded broken...- I realized that I hit some phenomenal shots, absolutely gorgeous clubs, terrible sound on impact, but who cares, if the balls fly this far and precise.

What does flat mean in buying irons?

Asked by: Rpgilmore
The flat is referring to the lie angle. For example, there's a stock set that is a Red 1.0 Flat available, and that is -1 degree flat. A flat lie angle is lower than the standard lie angle. The lie angle of any golf club is the angle formed between the center of the shaft and the sole, or ground line, of the club when the club is soled in its proper playing position. If you're unsure of the lie angle you need we would recommend seeing a club fitter for best fit.

What color code for ping i500 would you need if you hit a draw mostly?

Asked by: Rickvlda
Mainly clubs that are too upright may cause a golfer to draw, hook or pull the ball; while clubs that are too flat may cause the golfer to fade, slice or push the ball. We would recommend being fitted by a local golf professional or golf pro-shop to establish the most effective color code for your game.
