Rated 5 out of 5 by from Accurate as heck! I’ve had these irons for 9 months. Went back and forth with my Callaway BB OS. The Callaways are easy to hit, but accuracy is inconsistent. I use a launch monitor - the GMax’s are 5-7 yards longer and so straight and accurate. These are now my primary irons. Callaways are backups.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The perfect club for anybody I purchased the GMax with graphite shafts. They are some of the most forgiving clubs !! If you are a weekend golfer or a pro these will be amazing for you!! Of course Ping hold their value but you should not need another club for a long time!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best set of clubs I have ever owned When I returned to golf after 2+ decades and a few injuries, it was time to find a new set of irons. And at my age, I knew these clubs may well be the last set I buy. G-Max clubs, plus senior shafts, returned me to the the fullest enjoyment of golf. The feel of the clubs is excellent. Solid quality hits has made it easy to play. What a joy they have been to reintroduce me to to the game I loved.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No Buyer's Remorse Here! I searched long and hard before I made the decision to completely retool my entire bag (and bought a new bag too!). I've been playing Callaway's for the past 15+ years and ultimately, after much research, decided to go back to Ping. The technology was just what I was looking for. It was absolutely the right choice and definitely no buyers remorse on my part! My iron play has never been crisper and more accurate, plus I gained about 5-7 yards per iron. I bought additional wedges as well (I carry 4 in total). In addition, I also bought the G-30 driver, 3 metal and 19 degree hybrid. I've been able to play about 15 rounds, plus tournament play, this season and can't wait until next spring to to play again and really dial them all in! Ping got it right with these irons . . . forgiving, solid, accurate!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Game improvement for every golfer I've had the irons for almost 2 years with regular graphite shaft. I switched from Mizuno blades and the result has been phenomenal. Off center misses are no longer as punishing and regularly still get close enough to the target to prevent a high score. True hits have a reassuring sound and the flight is consistent. I had no plans to change until I just tried the new G700 in a 7 iron and all I can saw is wow!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Confidence to play any club in my bag. Finishing second golf seasons with my new PING's and am now a convert. Thanks PING.

How do I know what my lie angle is?

Asked by: tap
You will want to use the Ping Color Code chart on the product page and find where your height (left to right along the top of the chart) and your wrist-to-floor measurement (up and down along the left of the chart) intersect and choose the color code your measurements land in.

explain diffrence of angles like yellow 1.50 and green.thank you

Asked by: irizarr48
Getting custom fit for a set of irons requires several different factors. Regarding Ping Iron Set Dot Colors, the main factors in getting fit correctly are your height, and more importantly the length of your wrist to the floor. The other important factor is the lie angle of your iron set. Black dot is standard. However, we would recommend being fitted to determine which lie angle will best suit you.
