Q & A

PING Men's G30 LST Drivers

Lower Spin With G30 Speed

While utilizing the proven G30 technology, the LST (Low Spin Tec) driver is ideal for faster swinging players who want less spin for more control with longer distance. Crown turbulators reduce drag to increased clubhead speed and ball velocity for more distance, with adjustable lofts to fine tune trajectory.

PING Men's G30 LST Drivers features:

  • Lofts: 9.0, 10.5
  • Crown Turbulators improve aerodynamics by reducing drag forces for more distance
  • New T9S face material creates higher strength/weight ratio for thinner, hotter face
  • Up to 400 rpm less spin than the standard G30 for improved control
  • Slightly more forward CG to promote lower launch angles and less spin
  • Add or reduce up to 1 degree of loft to fine-tune trajectory
  • TFC 419D graphite shaft (lightweight, mid-to-high spin) available in Soft Regular, Regular, Stiff, X-Stiff
  • Tour 65 graphite shaft (low-spin, heavier shaft for aggressive swingers) available in Regular, Stiff, X-Stiff
  • Swing Weight: D4
  • Available in left- and right-hand
  • PING 5L Round Grip
  • Includes headcover

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful club I bought this club for my husband as a surprise because he had wanted one for as long as I can remember. The shipping was very fast, got the club in 2 days and it was absolutely beautiful, pristine condition. After giving the club to my husband he's in love with the performance of it. He said it has added almost 30 yards to his game. Lightweight and great control plus loves the slight adjustability of it. He is an almost scratch golfer and I got him the 10.5 loft, stiff shaft and it's perfect.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Surprise!! Surprise!! Most consistent driver I ever hit! I've gained 30 yards in distance and no fear of slicing ball and into adjacent fairways 47 yrs old and average 315 off tee box. In fact I've had learn to hit wedges instead of 8-9 iron into green. Which has lowered my score by average 7 stokes per round.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fast and simple I purchased the Ping G30 LST about two months ago from TGW. The ordering process was simple and shipping was timely. I would recommend TGW to anyone wanting to purchase new club(s) at a great price online.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loud, but it delivers. Purchased a few weeks ago and I’m very pleased. This is my second go-around with this club and for me it’s a bomber. Easily longer than the epic I had, longer than the m1 and m2. It’s longer than the cobra f7+. Of course that is the result for me. I have it in the ping tour 65 Shaft (x flex). Overall, I’m very pleased with it and actually have confidence off the tee which hasn’t been the case as of late.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great sound, long and straight! I have the same driver in 10.5 degrees that has a tendency to balloon on me. Switching to this 9 degree driver took care of that!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Long & Forgiving! Very forgiving driver that doesn't sacrifice distance.

What are the major differences between the G LS tec and G30 Ls Tec? Handicap - 7, Swing Speed105-110, Swing favors a fade, High ball flight, Swings with error are generally a slice,Thinking G30 Ls Tec, 9 Deg., X-Stiff, Tour 65 graphite Shaft. Thoughts?

Asked by: Jay A
Both are designed for low spin. The G is the newer model with the main difference being some new aerodynamic features like Dragonfly and Vortec technologies.

are the shaft selections color choices

Asked by: Trish1231
I bought the PRO shaft model and it only comes in sliver with black markings/writing

Please advise on shaft options. Have a swing speed of greater than 106mph for driver (95mph for a five iron as comparison). H'cap of 7 (lack of practice). Over 6ft 2' tall.

Asked by: Swing71
With a high swing speed and low handicap, you may benefit from the Tour 65 shaft. It will be a heavier shaft and often give a lower, more piercing ball flight.
