Orange Whip Swing Trainers Junior Trainer is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 22.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Feeling I have been using this for 1 month now and it has really helped me with my tempo. I use it before I go to the course and for 25 swings after I get there. It has trained me to relax and swing the club.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for Tempo and Club Head Release I took a few warm up swings with this prior to my first tee shot of a round and then promptly released a four iron into the upper atmosphere. It's a tool that helps greatly with getting the proper feel for smooth tempo, great transition at the top, and nice club head release. I'm a mid to high handicapper and this thing is helping me with my biggest swing issue which is inconsistent tempo. While it might seem pricey for an 'orange ball on a stick,' it has felt at once useful, well-constructed, and durable. For some reason my review link attaches this to the Junior Trainer model but I'm writing regarding the full sized model. At any size, though, when following the directions and swing drills, this thing is a winner.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I needed. Now I am out of excuses for po I bought this about a month ago and it is great for stretching and warming up . Hits all the right muscles that get used only during golf.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I don't get it! I have owned this for over a year, and it does nothing for me. Better off swinging a club you use on the course. You don't use an Orange Whip Swing Trainer to hit a ball, so why practice with it. It just confuses your muscle memory and brain sync.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great swing trainer! This is an amazing product. Have been using a few weeks - helps the swing especially the turn and weight shift. Highly recommend. I am a senior golfer so being limber and getting a good weight shift is critical. Product works as advertised. Have the senior model. Easily fits in the golf bag.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well Purchased a couple of weeks ago and started the swing exercises. It has been going well. Will see this spring how well it effects my shots

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great training and warm up A Christmas gift for the golfer who has everything and didn't think they needed something like the whip. It doesn't take much room in the bag and it doesn't take long to warm up and stretch. In addition, it does set the tone for your swing.

I.m a senior citizen and wanted to know which swing trainer do you suggest I use.?

Asked by: Rene Spinetta
I am 60 and 6'7" tall and I got the longest of the trainers and it works great. When letting my shorter friends use it I notice it may be a little long for them. I would consider the mid size orange whip especially if you are going to use it outside or in an area with a lot of room where you can do all the exercises you like. Otherwise the compact is best for indoor use.

I'm 6' 2", 69 years old, index is 21.6, use regular flex in irons and hybrids and senior flex in driver.  Which model would you recommend.

Asked by: Belsac
I am 6'7' 59 yr old and purchased the longest of the orange whips, it mimics my regular shafted clubs the best since I swing extra long clubs anyway. I use for warm up and practice and it really feels good to swing especially when I dont have time to go to the range before a round

what is considered"taller women?" how about a 5'6"-standard or mid-size?

Asked by: patika
Generally, "Tall" is considered,in women's golf to be 5'10" and up, but this will also depend on your arm length, stance, etc. I would suggest the midsize for someone 5'6".

How do you determine what size wip is best for you?

Asked by: pwilliam7
This will be dependent on what club swing you would like to improve as well as what flex you would normally use. The standard is the most physically demanding, designed to simulate driver swings for men and taller women. The mid-size is the universal fit option for both men, women, and even juniors. Mid-size will simulate the swing of a driver for women and teens while simulating an iron swing for men and taller women.
