Q & A

Mizuno RB Tour X Golf Balls

Mizuno RB Tour X golf balls are made to deliver a new level of speed with incredible performance in the wind. The drag-reducing Cone Dimple design came from 12 years of wind tunnel testing by Mizuno. Their 360 C-Dimples create more trigger points that keep fast flowing air closer to the golf ball for long to both reduce drag and strengthen trajectory. A four-piece construction features an ultra-soft urethane cover to responsive performance around the greens as well. Overall, Mizuno RB Tour X golf balls deliver controllable, penetrating driver flight, distance gains on full iron shots, response and control around the greens, and mid-low driver spin, all in a soft compression.

Features:

  • Ultra-soft and responsive urethane cover provides optimal performance around the green
  • C-Dimple design creates more trigger points to keep fast-flowing air close to the ball for longer to reduce drag and strengthen ball flight
  • High-energy ionomer mantle layer
  • Dual core with graduated firmness provides distance gains in the long game
  • High green-side spin with mid-low driver spin
  • Soft compression
  • 360 dimple design
  • Four-piece construction
  • Available in 12-ball pack

Mizuno RB Tour X Golf Balls #1-#4 12-Ball Pack is rated 2.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Remember the Balata? While the feel of the ball is good and the flight is comparable to other brand name balls, the urethane cover of the Mizuno ball is horrible. It will cut and tear on every swing and I mean every swing. The company claims that "that is normal wear and tear". However, when I pay top end money and have to switch out balls after every hole or two, that's ridiculous. Unless you don't worry about money or are a tour pro, stay away.
