Q & A
Mizuno’s JPX 900 fairway woods were designed with significant customization features to help players produce the exact ball flight, trajectory, and spin rates that they’re looking for. The Infinite Fast Track system utilizes a sliding 15-gram weight across the sole of the club to influence launch and spin rate, while an adjustable hosel that allows for face angle and loft adjustment enables players to impact trajectory and ball flight. Additionally, the JPX 900 fairways feature Mizuno’s Shockwave Sole, which produces faster ball speeds from impact points across the face, and the Waffle Crown allows for a center of gravity that’s low and forward to generate higher launch. JPX 900 fairway woods are available in lofts of 15, 18, and 21 degrees and they come stock with aftermarket Fujikura Speeder EVO shafts, the 569 model in regular flex and 661 model in stiff flex. Other custom shaft options are available as well for players who need a different profile.

“I was incredibly impressed. Once again, great feel, and (I) was able to get the ball up and have great flight with it, too. I was able to work the ball with that slight fade or a slight draw as well, so it was good."

“They were great. I started off, the first few I hit were pretty high, which is normal for me, so I tried to flight a few of them down, kind of work it right to left or left to right, and I was able to do that.”
