Rated 3 out of 5 by from For Beginners The Medicus dual-hinged training clubs are for beginners. I'm a 10 handicap so I'm not a pro or have a good golf swing but I have no trouble swinging his club correctly. The only time I can make the club hinge is the first six inches of my takeaway (backswing). In order to swing it correctly the takeaway must be very, very slow or the club will hinge. This is a tempo training club not so much for swing plane or swing mechanics. I will be donating this club to a local high school.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Learned the 7 iron with ease Driver just as easy I am a person of challenge and when I ordered the Medicus 7 iron last season, the challenge was to hit the ball with the Medicus as stated you can if you perfect the swing stroke. In five days I had it down pat and was using the Medicus even in my game from time to time for fun. Now I have ordered the Driver and am having a great time with the challenge of getting the swing down for a long club. Of course, the added benefit are the strokes that will naturally come off your game like mine did. If you like a challenge, this is an easy one to conquer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product is very effective. Preface this review by stating I am a 14 handicap. Last spring I determined I had developed some swing flaws over the winter but couldn't pinpoint my exact issue. I tried the Medicus as a last resort before hiring a swing coach. The club worked like a charm. Having it break when I deviated from the conventional swing line forced me back into my groove. I now carry the club in my trunk and take a few swings before I warm up for each round. You likely are not going to develop a Tigeer Woods swing by using this device but it will help you incrementally improve your swing.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from excellent when used properly/understood this can have an immediate impact on your game if you make an effort to use it correctly. This club is to get your muscles used to swinging correctly, when they get used to making the motions and accelerating with the correct tempo it will naturally switch to your normal driver. This club is definitely all about the tempo though, the biggest improvements ive made in the week that ive owned this club have been in tempo/rythem. In the three rounds that ive played since owning the club ive hit 21 fairways and my misses arent too far off. Also i have the club set extremely loose, this is how you'll see the biggest gains, give it a go and dont get frustrated after 10 minutes of struggle, it will pay off

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good tool for tweeking your swing I would recommend this item ONLY for higher handicap players or players who do not play often. I did find value in this item because I have many bad habits. My swing can be very good at times but overall inconsistant. This training aid mostly is not used but definately is utilized when I need to figure something out in my swing or just need to feel the rotation of my swing (done correctly).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Medicus Dual Hinge Swing Trainer Christmas gift for brother and sister in law. They belong to a private club and golf about 3 times per week. I was pleasantly suprised that they did not already have their own Medicus swing trainer. Guess it's one of those things you see advertised that you'de love to have but wouldn't spend your own money to buy. Made for a good gift.
