Rated 5 out of 5 by from Phenomenal Range Finder! Just received my Garmin Z80. Took some time to get the software update completed along with reaching a full charge but once I got this thing on the golf course it was amazing!! Tons of yardage info with a click of the button. Looking forward to this golf season:)

Rated 2 out of 5 by from GPS Accuracy and Battery LIfe are disapppointing I bought this after using a pure optical device for many years. It is great for visiting new courses other wise not worth the premium in price. 1. Battery life limited to 2.5 rounds. Need to take home to recharge. Device needs a replaceable battery. 2. GPS map accuracy is poor. Often the pin is measuring optically off the green compared to map. 3. Has often locked up during round in Standby mode. Recent software release seems to have improved this. 4. The sighting image is poor, but locking on pin works well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice features, but need some details are not up to I was expecting a little more. For example: the case is the worst ever. It is aboslutely imposible to take it out and back in after each use, like you do with Bushnell. The only way to go is to keep it out for the whole round. Next: is goes in Stand by mode very quick, and it takes a few seconds to resart. That adds to slow play. Also, image is not very good. Was expecting more for the value. Also, what is it with decimals on yards? Really? I think it should round up. It makes it confusing to have decimals. Other than that is ok, but I'm not sure if it is worth the value. Please make changes to the case so it is usable during the golf round.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great GPS/Laser Rangefinder I love the product once it's out of the protective pouch - it's easy to use, has great visual clarity and shows all the information I need to make informed decision on the golf course - even if I've never played the course before. The visual overlay of the map of the hole with distances to bunkers etc. is incredibly useful when playing courses your not intimately familiar with. But there are two items that could be improved, the first is the protective pouch and the second has to do with target acquisition. 1) The pouch feels very sturdy and seems to provide a great level of protection, but it lacks indents to make it easy to remove the device from it. My hope is that it will loosen a little over time, but if not it just needs a bit of a redesign. 2) The device lacks either some sort of tactile response when a look of the PIN has been acquired or needs some optical image stabilization. I've got a bit of a shaky hand when it comes to range finders and either option would make it easier on me to be confident that the right target has been selected.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Range Finder My wife bought me this for Christmas and while I have only used it for a couple of rounds I really like it. I'm headed to Myrtle Beach next month and plan to use it extensively.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from very cool Just got it. It is more sensitive than my Bushnell. After you get used to it, it has great features. I like the arc it shows for the green and tee shots. The GPS works amazing. I started on hole 15 and it picked it up perfectly. Overall - very impressed and enjoy using it. BTW, I couldn't use my standard USB cord for charging or updating. I had to use the one supplied by Garmin.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Game improving features! Excellent range finder. The front and back of green readings are excellent and help you hit more greens. the readings are easy to see and understand. Have only played one round so not sure of battery life.
