Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very happy I upgraded I received an email about a trial of the Wilson Staff D7 irons. I have played Wilson irons for the last 30 years, but usually had purchased new sets that were models from previous years. Thought I'd try the newest and glad that I did. Love the clubs. Ball is flying off the face. It's been a bit of a learning curve with the added distance of 5 to 15 yards, bit more perhaps when struck flush. I'm happy that I stayed with Wilsons and happy to have their latest clubs in my bag.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from What is my new distance? I am now hitting a 5 iron the same distance I hit my old 4 iron. I still don't have my GW dialed in for distance, need more rounds.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful irons with massive sweet spot I am hitting these irons so sweet and far. I finally just broke down and ordered the 4 iron. They’re incredible easy to hit off the ground and yet are awesome to look at. I’ll be keeping these for a while.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally! -- the clubs I've been waiting for! Love these D7 irons! Finally a club that suits my eye, swing, and performs perfectly. Great sound, feel and flight.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unbelievably I'm older and only hitting my 7 iron 140. Took the 7 iron challenge and now I am a proud owner of the D7s. Now hitting 160 170.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sit beautifully behind the ball These clubs are very forgiving and easy to hit. I used to play on a very low handicap and now at 62 I am hitting the ball just as far with the KBS 80 shaft. In a word they are beautiful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from D7's are impressive - 3 month follow up This is a follow up to my earlier review from 3 months ago that I posted after first purchasing the D7's and had played a few rounds. I've now played nearly 50 rounds with these irons. I am so impressed that I thought I should provide an update, since as you might know, the magic of new sticks sometimes wears off over time. I'm a 5.7 index and have played a number of different irons over the years. In my hands, the D7's with regular graphite shafts are: a) easy on the joints (I'm 68), b) long with a very solid feel, and c) more accurate than any irons I've ever played. These are my first irons without steel shafts and the UST Mamiya Recoil shafts are a game changer for me. Effortless to hit, solid feel and, did I mention these babies are LONG. Since purchasing the D7's, I'm more than 1.5 clubs longer, which has taken me a while to get used to. More importantly, particularly with the 8 iron through gap wedge, these irons are true pin seekers and I feel I can go after any pin. They fly long, high and land soft. I could not be more pleased. At nearly one-half the price of similar irons from other manufacturers, these clubs are a bargain and should be a first pick for anyone looking for irons that are easy to hit, long and accurate. Try them, you will like them!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Feel This is the third set of Wilson Irons I have purchased, and I love them. I hit the ball high, on target. I love the feel of the way the ball leaves the face of the club.....on target. Great feeling.

I know these clubs already have a strong lie, but can you bend them an additional 1 degree strong? There is no place to ask this under the custom specifications section.

Asked by: Mikie17
The Custom Specs tab does include an option for custom lie angle to be made 1°, 2°, or 3° either flat or upright.

I think the guy meant "Loft" vs "Lie" in the last question. So, can the loft be adjusted 1 or 2 degrees, weak or strong"

Asked by: tucsonguy
Wilson does not currently offer custom loft options for these irons.
