Q & A

  • The 718 T-MB irons will be offered for the first time by Titleist as a complete stock set.
  • Most unique about the 718 T-MB is its multi-material, hollow body construction, which enables a thinner clubface that creates faster ball speeds and allows weight to be repositioned to the perimeter of the clubhead to create incredible forgiveness on mis-hits.
  • It’s also worth pointing out, however, that by using a hollow body design Titleist is able to maintain soft, responsive feel in conjunction with the thinner clubface.
  • The longer irons also utilize high-strength SUP10 face inserts to create maximum speed, and upwards of 90 grams of high-density tungsten has been positioned in the toe and heel to further improve stability at impact while also encouraging higher launch conditions.
  • The 718 T-MB irons also feature a progressive CG system, as the center of gravity changes based on each specific club to deliver optimal spin and trajectory to maximize performance on shots of every distance.
  • The stock shaft for the 718 T-MB irons is the mid-launching Project X PXi, with other premium shafts available at no upcharge as well for players looking for a different profile. The stock grip, meanwhile, will be the highly popular Golf Pride Tour Velvet.

Titleist Men's 718 T-MB Irons #2 Iron PXI Steel is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 14.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from 718T-MB 2 iron I have a set of Titleist irons 718 AP1s and wanted a 2 iron for another tee option and low rescue shots. I’ve played with the club for half a dozen rounds and love it. High launch off of the tee, but playable enough to hit stingers and recovery shots. Very forgiving for a 2 iron.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly what I wanted! I bought this as a Christmas gift this year for my boyfriend. I ordered it custom and was pleasantly surprised on how quick it was delivered. This was my first time ordering from the company and will be placing more orders in the future. He loved it! Thanks!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stringer City Great thin top line compared to the 790 UDI and the Callaway UDI.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Limited use, but it does it well I purchased the 2 Iron as a driving iron on shorter par 4's with a needed lower flight. Distance is consistent and outcomes are pretty predictable. I got the graphite shaft and the only changes were shaft length, lie angle and replacement of the pitiful stock grip - thus the four stars. For me this is not a club for daily play, but is limited to windy days where a low flight is necessary.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great look and feel Bought this club (the 2 iron) purely for off the tee when a driver is not needed. The ball flight is incredible and workability is great, and the feel is excellent. Definitely would recommend this club if you are a looking for something similar.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly what I was looking for I have this club in a 2 with the dynamic gold x100 shaft and it hits penetrating shots that run out. Great for a high swing speed players like myself who are looking for a little more control off the tee. It feels like a forged iron and sounds very powerful. I was looking for a reliable tee shot club to help myself find the fairway more often and I got exactly what I was looking for. Very workable, very long, decently forgiving, and looks great. Great job Titleist.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hybrid 2 Iron that works like a blade I’ve long preferred blade irons and struggled to shape a traditional hybrid the way I want. This club is the best of both worlds. You get the lift and forgiveness you’d want from a hybrid, but you can also control the tragectory and shape of the shot like a regular iron. I’d highly recommend this to any good player.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beter than I expected I have played with the new irons and they are great. The feel of the clubs and the shafts are a great combo, thanks for recommendation. No better way to order clubs
