Srixon Men's Z 565 Irons

Srixon's Highly Playable Cavity Back Golf Irons

Srixon’s Z Series irons feature three models, and of those three, it’s the Z 565 that is the game-improvement offering. A more apt description, however, might be game-improvement performance with a players club look and feel. In terms of performance, the Z 565s deliver higher launch, impressive forgiveness, and enhanced distance, the latter of which is created by the use of SUP10 face inserts, which increase ball speeds on shots struck from impact points across the clubface.

Features:

  • The Tour V.T. Sole improves turf interaction for more solid contact, and the slightly wider soles utilized in the design of the 565s make them even easier to hit than the other members of the Z family.
  • A forged cavity construction provides ample perimeter weighting to keep MOI high
  • The iron has a thicker topline and the blade shape is still more compact than what’s typically seen in most game-improvement irons
  • The 1020 Carbon Steel forged construction offers an incredible feel and acoustics at impact
  • Stock Shaft: the Miyazaki Kaula 8 graphite shaft or the Nippon N.S. Pro 980 steel shaft
  • Stock Grip: Golf Pride Tour Velvet 360

Srixon Men's Z 565 Irons #4 Thru AW Nippon NS Pro 980GH Steel is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 18.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice set of irons Very forgiving, good distance and I like the sound off the club face. The 565s produced nearly identical numbers to the 585s, so I went with these for cost.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Srixon fan from this point I have been playing golf for almost 30 years. I've had a lot of different irons from the big name manufacturers. The last 4-5 years I haven't been able to find an iron that just felt good or that I had tremendous amount of confidence in. I play at approx a 10 handicap and used to be a low single digit handicap. I see these irons helping be get back to those figures again. I found a set of the Srixon 565 irons with Nippon NS Pro 980 stiff shafts at my local store yesterday at a good price. Traded in the TM's and put these in the bag. Played 9 holes last night with them without going to the range. These clubs are absolutely amazing. The looks, feel, sound, distance, forgiveness, & workability are outstanding. I will be holding onto these for a while and when it's time for a new set I won't hesitate to buy another set of Srixons.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Z565 irons Love these irons! I was ready to pull the trigger on the new z585's, but after hitting those and these side by side I quickly realized performance was nearly identical. Spin, launch, carry, etc were really close, so it was just a matter of personal preference, aaaaand about a $650 savings. I do wish I could have gotten them with the Modus3 105's though. The 980's weren't the best fit for me, so I pulled them and installed some 750 wrap techs. Perfect combo for me. Really a great value. Thanks TGW.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Z565 irons - Srixon is Legit! These 565 irons rec’d the top iron award from MyGolfSpy 2017 testing so had to give these things a try. First off these are irons are probably the best looking out there - just georgeuous! 2nd I used to play Cally Apex pro forged irons and thought those were great, but the z565s feel better, are crazy longer (by 1/2-3/4 club), launch higher and come with great Nippon shafts - they really are that good! Hardest problem to solve is how do I keep them from getting dinged up ?, I could put club covers on them but then I wouldn’t get to show them off to my buddies who will be jealous when they see them. These irons have it all! I’m now a Srixon fan - bought the Z765 driver and that thing is amazing too....

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Irons! Bought these irons about 3 months ago, had them fitted to my height and swing. Took some rounds to get used to them, hitting them solid now. The feel, distance and looks are all there with the Z 565. Started to work the ball both ways now too!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well designed clubs with great visual appeal. The features built into these irons are a great fit for me. I only bought them a little over a month ago, and I am really happy with my improved striking of the ball! Thanks!!
