PING Men's i-Series E1 Irons Blue 0.75 Upright #4 - UW CFS Graphite Stiff Left is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 22.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great clubs I purchased Ping i series irons 4 through UW. Price was great and I love the clubs
Date published: 2018-10-31
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Long and straight! I purchased my Ping irons a few weeks ago and couldn’t be happier with them. They have a good feel behind the ball and give me a truer ball strike than my old irons.
Date published: 2018-08-08
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sent me the wrong club I ordered a left handed one and they sent me a right handed one.
Date published: 2018-06-05
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the feel and weight of the club It took a few rounds to adjust to the new clubs, but I am really enjoying them.
Date published: 2018-05-29
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best ping irons I’ve ever hit I bought these a month ago and have lowerd my handicap 5 strokes already. The clubs set up nice and hit nice as well. Ball really jumps off the face and is very forgiving on miss hits. Miss hits still end up good. I love these irons I would suggest these for anybody that plays ping or is looking for something new
Date published: 2018-05-08
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ping I Irons Extremely satisfied with these Ping irons, took a range session to get used to new ball flight and distances.
Date published: 2018-03-02
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ping I E1 Irons Great irons! I'm used to playing blades but these changed my thought process. Just swing and let the club do the work!
Date published: 2018-01-29
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid and forgiving irons, but lack workability Went from S59 blades to the E1 irons. Very forgiving on mishits and slightly longer distances overall. Still adjusting to heavier weight of club head, along with not as much backspin produced. Unlike the blades, most of my mishits still found the greens. This is a very solid club!
Date published: 2017-08-28
Rated 4 out of 5 by from great clubs but the swing weight is too light for PING makes great clubs but all of their clubs tend towards lighter swing weights. The stock swing weight is reported as D1 but they were D0 and I cannot feel the club during the swing at this swing weight. I returned the clubs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best out there Bought these irons this year. Used to have G20's which were very nice but wanted something less heavy at bottom. The Ping i irons may be there best ever. They let you work the ball but are forgiving. Very happy with them
Date published: 2016-09-22
Rated 5 out of 5 by from worth every penny played I first round with these and they are worth every penny. Yes you can work the ball. it pays to get fit with someone who knows what they are doing.
Date published: 2016-04-18
Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best Irons I have ever hit ! very forgiving but the feel is solid. Used the internet for measurement and that was spot on because I checked against the swing computer. Offset is minimal which is big plus. All in all I am very happy that I chose Ping and TGW

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing I had been playing Miura baby blades with XS AeroTech shafts. I love them, but on off-center hits the harshness was bothering the tendonitis in my arms. So I ordered the Ping i-Series with the AeroTech XS i95 shafts in hopes these heads would reduce the vibration on off-center hits and I have loved them. Off-center hits don't hurt a bit, and I don't lose as much distance either. I hit the E1 irons about a club further than the Miura, but I've heard the Pings are a degree lower, so that makes sense. Anyway, I love the trajectory, the feel, the sound. They have been a great choice for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great new PING iron! Having owned many varieties of PING irons for the past twenty-five years (Eye2's, Zing's, ISI's, G15's, Anser's), I was delighted that PING came out with a more modern iron. No gigantic offset, no oversized head, stronger lofts, easy customization. My new i's (I guess that's what they're called) are great. I ordered them with Project X Rifle shafts, black dot, standard grips and I love them. Played five rounds in the first seven days I had them. They will be in my bag for a long time! I am hitting the ball longer and higher. The feel is fantastic. Good job, PING engineers!

Can I custom order a set of E1 Ping iron with the same weight and length of the 9 Iron?

Asked by: Phuong
These are able to be customized through "enter custom specs" above the item picture. The weight will stay the same with the only difference being in the PW and GW. If you were to adjust each iron length it would have to be individually added to your cart as the irons will all have slightly different lengths. We would recommend to talk to a club fitting pro to be sure this is the most beneficial for you. The 9 iron will measure at 36" compared to the 3 iron measuring at 39" meant to increase your distance.

GOOD MORNING, IN RESPONSE TO MY PRIOR QUESTION ABOUT PING SHAFT INSERT ( FOAM ) IS THERE A BENIFIT TO USE THIS OPTION FOR ME TO HAVE THIS INSTALLED??? WHAT ARE THE ADVANT AND DIS-ADVANT. TO USING THIS? WHAT TYPT OF GOLFER ????? THANK YOU

Asked by: Rob H
The main benefit of the cushion inserts will be dampened vibration. Some golfers finds this helps reduce sore hands, wrists or elbows. Some golfers do not use them because they don't want to take away from the feel and responsiveness of their shots.

What color is the "Golf Pride Z-Grip" for these? What Z-grip is this specifically? Also, how does the sizing work for these? Does Gold mean midsize and Orange jumbo? How does this work? It is somewhat confusing.

Asked by: StevePGH1092
The Golf pride Z grip is only available in one color and that is black/white. You are correct in regards to the measurements. The Gold 1/32 would be mid-sized and the Orange is oversized.

What exactly is the lie angle?

Asked by: Themann
It's how the club hits the tuff. If the toe end of the club is hitting the deck  first you have a upright swing. If the hozel end hits more you have a flatter swing. It's a easy fit. They will put some tape on the bottom of your club and you swing hitting a strip of heavy plastic. Worth the time...

If I purchase these in standard lie, can they be bent by a pro shop to a degree or so flat if needed, since you do not have the flatter lie options available? Thanks.

Asked by: gsyard
Yes, if you purchase the standard, they could. With the notch in the hosel that PING provides on all irons, it gives them the ability to be bent to a specific lie angle.
