Q & A

Overview

  • Callaway's Jailbreak Technology now features an hourglass glass shape, making them 25% lighter than previous models.
  • The new X-Face architecture strategically makes parts of the club face thicker and thinner for faster speed all over.
  • Triaxial carbon material in the crown saves more weight, relocating it to the perimeter of the head for higher MOI (forgiveness).
  • A five-gram screw and more internal weight is placed in the heel to pull the center of gravity inward for up to 17-20 yards of draw bias.
  • Golfers who struggle with a slice will greatly benefit from the effects of the Rogue Draw driver.

Features

  • Jailbreak Technology has been redesigned to save more weight while stiffening the crown and sole
  • External and internal weighting added to the heel to promote draw spin by pulling the CG location inward toward the heel
  • Boeing Aero Package redefines the shape of the leading edge and Speed Step technology for better airflow and faster head speed
  • Wide range of premium after-market shafts available in every weight class for custom performance
  • Includes headcover

Improved Jailbreak Technology

The internal titanium bars have been redesigned into an hourglass shape for even more weight savings. Jailbreak bars stiffen the crown and sole to promote faster ball speed in the face while now allowing weight to be placed elsewhere for more forgiveness.

Draw-Enhancing Weighting

Draw-Enhancing Weighting

Added external and internal weight in the heel moves the center of gravity farther inward, enhancing the effect of the open-faced impact to minimize slice spin, correcting your trajectory 17-20 yards to the left.

New High-MOI Head Shape

New High-MOI Head Shape

Triaxial carbon crown is lightweight and strong, redistributing weight to the perimeter of the club head to significantly increase forgiveness, giving you longer, straighter shots even on off-center hits.

New X-Face Architecture

New X-Face Architecture

X-Face uses a variable face thickness design, strategically placing thicker and thinner sections where you need them to give you the ideal performance no matter where you strike the ball.

Boeing Aero Package

Boeing and Callaway developed the Speed Step technology used in previous drivers. Now the leading edge has been redesigned to improve airflow and deliver faster club head speed.

Multiple Shaft Offerings

The Callaway Rogue drivers feature an extensive choice of shaft offerings to fit any golfer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Driver I have played. I have owned my Rogue driver for two weeks and played 9 rounds with it and on my home course hit the driver on 11 holes so I have hit it in play approximatly not quite 100 times and of that number two have missed the fairway of which only one was not playable. I have gained 10 to twelve yards on average and as said my accuracy has gone way up. If you have a tendency for a right miss this club could vary well help your game as it has mine. I like everything about it and had the custom shop shorten it 1/2 inch and replace the grip to one of my liking.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from feels good swinging I purchased online after using a demo club against a curtain. The club felt good swinging. I needed to replace a Taylor R7 and to date have not found anything that feels good until now and am looking forward to this spring when I can actually use it on course which is why only 4 stars as I do not know how it will perform on the course.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful driver I love the look and the feel of the Rogue Draw driver. Over the years my slice has gotten worse and worse. I hoped this driver would help get me back on the fairway and so far it has helped. Even if just slightly. I’ve never been able to hit a draw, but with this driver I hit two decent draw shots in a row (before slicing yet again). But with some more range time I’m hoping to be able to get it down. Fingers crossed

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It does draw! My prior driver, a Taylor Made always had fade with my natural swing, even when it was adjusted for a draw. The Rogue Draw produces a straight to draw for my swing, which is what I was really to achieve, so I get better distance and more control. The sound coming off the club is a bit like a muffled thud, which took a little time to get used to it, but it’s fine now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rogue Draw 10.5 degree Changed it to 9.5 to achieve the desired trajectory, put it in play for a tournament at PB in December, love it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cured my slice I had a bad problem slicing the ball. I went to Golf Galaxy and got fitted with the Rouge Draw driver, wow what a difference. I now have a baby fade and also draw the ball when need.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Long!! First of all I’m a 12 handicap with a 90-95 mph driver swing speed. I was getting about 215 yards carry and maybe 230 total yardage with my TaylorMade M2. Once in a while I’d get the M2 on sweet spot and get 230 yards carry. I have a fade that turns into a slice if I put a bad swing on it. Anyway playing partner that I used to out drive buys a Callaway Epic last year and all of a sudden he is out driving me. After hearing all the buzz on the Rogue I buy a 10.5 rogue draw driver, all I can say is wow- I’m a believer. My avg carry is now 230 and I’m getting 245 sometimes 250 yard drives after roll. My fade is now a slight draw. When I put a bad pass on ball, I used to get ugly slice powder puff shot that would have a 30 yard slice and go 180-200 yards. Now with rogue draw it’s just a push that still goes 220 yards. Anyone fighting a slice or fade, buy this driver, I’m getting 15/20 yards more on good hits, and 30/40 yards more on mishits. I'm hitting many more fairways. It’s a game changer

Which stiff shaft is better

Asked by: Yarns
The two shafts that are available in stiff flex are the Aldila Synergy and the Project X Evenflow. The Aldila Synergy shaft is about 9 grams lighter than the Project X Evenflow. It is more personal preference. We have a full specs chart listed on the product page just below the description. If you are still unsure we would recommend being fitted at a local golf shop.
