Rated 5 out of 5 by from 'Go-to' ball for dry, hard, fast conditions This ball stops on a dime, even on firm greens. Plenty of distance off the clubs, for sure, but this ball really shines for me on approaches. Never backed a ball up on the greens before this one. Lets me 'pin hunt' instead of landing short and bouncing/rolling up, as with other balls. Can easily get 2-3 rounds out of a ball before it is scuffed enough to move to the shag bag or practice net. Probably more if I just avoided the trees and cart paths a bit more, no? Have recommended to friends and one switched to this full time after just one round playing with it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from urathane cover really makes this a players ball I have used the duo with the surlyn cover in the past but the cover would always crack. this cover is resilient and had great spin.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I like the Ball. It took a while to get used to it, after playing with my Maxfli for so long, I still love my Maxfli. I'm still learning the ball but I'm sure I will love it after time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great upgrade. I bought the Duo U a month ago looking for a ball to fit my wife and my improving game. We have used many different ball previously including Duo Soft (Which my wife loved). We both needed the green side control tied into the feel of the low compression ball that also has less side spin issues. It didn't fail to impress on the course. Would highly recommended this ball.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wilson Duo Urethane Good premium ball. For a reasonably low price. Worth a try. I wish they had the Wilson Staff logo on them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from You’re missing out This ball is all around amazing. Distance, feel and spin are all a great combo. It is as good and better than same category balls. The price is just a bonus.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pin hunting. Finally manufacturers are focusing on the "everyday" golfer and not the pro/elite(hitting 2000 balls a week with every aspect of their swing monitored and analyzed, club fitted to the T etc. getting all the best stuff for free etc.) Sometimes I hear talking about guys shooting in the 80's like its a bad thing, well try and hit only 70 golf balls a week and play once a week, believe very difficult to do. Its a dream ball soft compression with a urethane cover its like a Pro VI on steroids; but so much more confidence around the greens, i.e. no holding back I try to "stick it" now took couple rounds to trust it but now its great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Distance I added about 20-30 yards more per drive with this ball. Great feel coming off of the club

Wilson ever produce the Duo Urethane in yellow?  I'm old but can still play a bit (6 index).   I'm at a point where I cannot see white balls very well.  VERY interested in trying this golf ball.  Former Pro V1 user.  Hitting Srixon V-Star.

I'm sorry, it does not appear that Wilson currently offers the Duo Urethane in the yellow color.

Do all the Wilson Duo golf balls have the same compression? Other than color, what is the difference in performance (e.g., carry, role, spin, etc.)? Thank you!

Asked by: Dr BJA
They do not have the same compression, but they are some of the softest feeling balls on the market. The Duo is more of a distance ball. Very soft feel though, one of the softest I've used especially with the putter, and you do get some very good full wedge shot spin and touch spin around the greens are good. The Duo Spin is just that. It spins more than the Duo and it's Distances are very comparable from club to club as the distance Duo ball. The Duo Urethane is their top of the line ball. It spins more than the other Duo's and distance is comparable but not up to the Duo Distance. As playing in the wind and for workability if that's your game, the Urethane is tops, Duo and Duo Spin fly a little higher than the Urethane. If you want a good ball with a great price point that compares to a lot of more expensive ball. Play the Duo. If you want a tour level ball at $37.00 a dozen the Urethane is a great choice. I've switched from the Pro V1 to the Urethane, and actually use the Duo to practice with, do to the soft feel. Can't go wrong with anyone of the balls. So if you really want to break it down. On a wet course use the Duo, the extra distance helps and the spin is plenty on soft greens. Your Game ball, if your accomplished single digit mid-handicap player. Urethane.
