Cobra Men's King F9 One Length Irons

Overview

  • Cobra's 2019 King F9 One Length irons combine tungsten weighting with innovative shaping and Speedback Technology to create the most powerful, stable Cobra iron to date in a One Length configuration for a smooth, repeatable swing.
  • One Length irons are engineered with the specs of a 7-iron to simplify the game by reducing the variability in the golf swing.
  • Low CG Speedback sole adds mass low and back for a lower, deeper center of gravity that increases ball speed and launch to maximize distance.
  • Additional mass is strategically elevated from the contact area of the sole to maintain a sleeker appearance golfers prefer.
  • 33 grams of tungsten is placed in the heel and toe to increase stability and inertia for the best combination of distance and forgiveness.
  • Three-piece multi-material medallion design features aluminum, TPU, and acrylic foam to dampen vibrations for a softer, more responsive feel.
  • E9 variable thickness face with PWRShell Technology expands the Sweet zone for higher launch and faster ball speeds across more of the club face.
  • CNC-milled face and grooves provide a more precise construction for improved spin and trajectory.
  • Progressive Spin Technology provides the proper spin where you need it.
    • 4-7 irons feature CNC-milled V-grooves to reduce spin for increased distance and flight.
    • 8-PW include U-grooves to optimize spin for improved control and accuracy.
    • Gap wedge and sand wedge have tighter-spaced wedge grooves for greater spin for more precision around the green.
  • Progressive hosel lengths use shorter hosel in the 4-6 irons to lower the CG for increased launch and distance while longer hosels into the wedges raise the CG for more controlled trajectory.
  • Cobra Connect powered by Arccos has access to more than 40,000 golf courses to help track performance.
  • The Cobra King F9 One Length irons are a great game improvement option, featuring Cobra's latest innovations in speed, distance, and forgiveness in a One Length configuration to make the golf swing easier and repeatable.

Speedback Technology

Speedback Technology

Revolutionary Speedback Technology combines innovative shaping and 33 grams of tungsten weighting in the heel and toe to achieve the ultimate combination of low center of gravity and high MOI. For you, that means maximum power, distance, stability, and forgiveness.

Forged E9 PWRShell Face

Forged E9 PWRShell Face

The E9 variable thickness face design expands the Sweet Zone for maximum performance on a larger area of the club face. Cobra's forged PWRShell design features a deep undercut sole that absorbs and returns more energy to the ball at impact for higher launch and faster ball speed.

Co-Molded Medallion

A three-piece multi-material medallion in the 4-7 irons features aluminum, TPUE, and acrylic foam. This combination of lightweight, vibration- dampening materials deliver a softer, more responsive feel that is not usually found in a game improvement iron.

CNC-Milled Face & Grooves

CNC-Milled Face & Grooves

Cobra's precise manufacturing process brings a new level of precision usually only found in forged players irons. CNC milling creates a perfectly flat face, precise grooves, and precise lofts for maximum spin and trajectory control, used for the first time in a game improvement iron.

Cobra Mens King F9 One Length Irons #5-GW Fujikura Atmos is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very forgiving After reading some positive reviews about how easy the long irons are to hit, I decided to dip my toe in the water by ordering a 6 iron. I played a couple rounds with it over the weekend and it is, in fact, substantially easier to hit than a standard length club--at least for me. And distance was spot on relative to a solid strike from my normal 6 iron. Only downside is that the heads are fairly large. So if you have a bit of an ego and like irons where all the technology is hidden, these may not be for you.

What are the major differences between the f9 and f max superlight? What club will improve my game more?

Asked by: Stephen
The FMax Superlight are designed to work best with moderate swing speeds. Players who need lighter weight clubs to produce more speed would see good results with the FMax clubs.

If I do not order the Cobra Connect grips do I need to order the shafts a 1/4 inch longer than the standard length?

Asked by: Golfer49
No, you do not need to customize the shaft 1/4 inch longer. If you normally use a standard length shaft you would choose standard length, however, during customization it could potentially add up to an 1/8 of an inch to the shaft.
